Kevin Durant finished Sunday’s blowout win over Serbia with a nearly-perfect 23 points to go with two rebounds in his 2024 Olympic debut.
Durant knocked down 8-of-9 shots and was lethal from beyond the arc, hitting all five of his three-point attempts. Durant also hit both of his free throws to cap off a superb shooting performance. Not too shabby for a guy who’s been out of action due to a calf injury, but there’s a reason KD is the USA’s all-time leading Olympic scorer.

Herb Jones (ankle) is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game against the 76ers.
Jones, who recently missed two-plus weeks with a sprained ankle, started and played 30 minutes in Friday’s win over the Grizzlies. His availability for Saturday’s game means that Jeremiah Fears will remain with the bench unit, which has lowered the rookie’s fantasy ceiling.
HLs: Jokic returns from knee injury, scores 31
Nikola Jokic had 31 points and 12 rebounds in his first game in a month to lead the Nuggets over the Clippers 122-109. Jokic, the three-time NBA MVP, missed 16 games after injuring his left knee in Miami on Dec. 29.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) is out for Saturday’s game against the Bulls.
Saturday’s game will be the sixth consecutive game that Mitchell has missed with a strained left shoulder. Rookie Kasparas Jakučionis has been the replacement in the starting lineup, and that will likely remain the case on Saturday.
  • PHI Center #1
Andre Drummond (illness) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans.
Drummond is a new addition to the 76ers’ injury report, which may not bode well for his availability. However, with Joel Embiid and Adem Bona available, Philadelphia will have enough depth at the center position.
  • PHI Forward #8
The NBA has suspended Paul George for 25 games for violating the terms of the league’s anti-drug program.
Just when the 76ers were playing well and strengthening their on-court chemistry, the league announced that George will be suspended for 25 games. His absence likely means that Dominick Barlow, who remains on a two-way contract, will return to the starting lineup. Not having George also means the 76ers will need more production from starters VJ Edgecombe and Kelly Oubre, which could raise the fantasy ceilings of both players.
  • SAS Guard-Forward #24
De’Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie and Victor Wembanyama will start Saturday’s game against the Hornets.
Vassell is back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in his first two appearances after missing nearly a month with a strained adductor. However, his inclusion does not come at the expense of Champagnie. Instead, it’s Harrison Barnes who heads to the bench, so those who were streaming Champagnie should hold onto him for a bit longer.
  • CHI Guard #0
Coby White (calf) is now doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
White was initially questionable for Saturday’s game, but a lingering right calf issue has him trending toward not playing. With Josh Giddey (hamstring) and Tre Jones (hamstring) out, the Bulls will have to rely heavily on Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter. Dalen Terry or Jevon Carter may enter the rotation, but neither would be worth streaming.
  • CHI Forward-Center #25
Jalen Smith (calf) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Smith had to exit Thursday’s loss to the Heat before halftime due to tightness in his right calf, and the injury will keep him out for at least the first game of Chicago’s back-to-back in Miami. Ayo Dosunmu started the second half in his place last time out and will have a prominent role, as the Bulls are also without Josh Giddey (hamstring).
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey (hamstring) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Giddey will miss a second consecutive game due to left hamstring injury management. Jalen Smith replaced him in the lineup for Thursday’s loss to the Heat, but he is also out due to right calf tightness. Look for Ayo Dosunmu to figure more prominently in the rotation after scoring 19 second-half points the last time out, and he is worth streaming in 12-team leagues.
  • CHA Guard #10
Josh Green (Achilles) is available for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Green was initially listed as probable for Saturday’s game, so the upgrade was expected. While he’ll be part of the rotation due to his defense, the 2020 first-round pick is unlikely to affect fantasy basketball.
  • De’Anthony Melton had 18 points (7-of-13 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer in Friday’s loss to the Pistons.
Melton had another excellent shooting night off the bench Friday. The 27-year-old shooting guard has now been in double figures in nine of his last 11 games. Melton typically plays 25 minutes or less, which caps his overall fantasy value and makes ceiling games hard to come by. Still, his scoring was up in January as he averaged 14.4 points per game. Melton and the Warriors have a few days off before their next game Tuesday against the 76ers.
