Michael Porter Jr. finished Wednesday’s loss to the Pelicans with 20 points (7-of-19 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist and four three-pointers.
Porter, who has scored at least 20 points in nine of his last ten appearances, had a chance to send Wednesday’s game into overtime. Unfortunately for him, his shot from a few steps inside of half-court was wide left, extending the Nets’ losing streak to five games. Porter has been one of the bright spots for Brooklyn, playing well enough that his name has been mentioned in trade rumors. And for the sake of fantasy managers hoping to count on MPJ during the playoff weeks, a trade may be needed to ensure that he doesn’t get shut down late in the season.

Keyonte George, Svi Mykhailiuk, Cody Williams, Ace Bailey and Jusuf Nurkić will start against the Spurs on Monday.
Mykhailiuk and Nurkić will return to the starting lineup, pushing Isaiah Collier and Kyle Filipowski back to the bench. Both should still play decent roles as reserves, but the streaming upside of both will be reduced. Mykhailiuk isn’t a reliable fantasy option, but Nurkić has had success as a starter this season.
Bucks-Hawks a game of 'poise' and 'resistance'
Mark Followill and Austin Rivers discuss the poise and resistance shown in the Milwaukee Bucks' win against the Atlanta Hawks that ends a three-game skid.
  • CHI Forward #44
Patrick Williams (ankle) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Tuesday.
Williams missed Sunday’s game against the Nets after an early exit on Friday. Kevin Huerter took on a few extra minutes with Williams out on Sunday and should continue to see a larger role if Williams remains sidelined against the Clippers.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey (hamstring) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Tuesday.
Giddey has been sidelined since December, but there is a chance he returns to the lineup to take on the Clippers. Tre Jones has been starting in his place, where he has had fantasy success this season. However, if Giddey returns, Jones will head back to the bench, which will eliminate the streaming value he held.
  • DAL Forward #32
Cooper Flagg (ankle) is available to play against the Knicks on Monday.
Following a two-game absence, Flagg will be back in the lineup to take on New York. Caleb Martin should return to playing a role off the bench with Flagg back, which will eliminate the little streaming value he held.
  • OKC Guard #9
Alex Caruso (back) will not return to Monday’s game against the Cavaliers on Monday.
Caruso logged seven minutes in the first half, but he won’t be available to close out this game. Ajay Mitchell, Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe should see a few extra minutes in the second half with Caruso ruled out.
  • OKC Power Forward #10
Jaylin Williams (back) will not return to Monday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Williams got the starting nod in place of Jalen Williams, which was to help the Thunder match up better with the Cavs’ big frontcourt. Kenrich Williams will start in place of Jaylin Williams to start the second half and should receive a nice boost in playing time if he remains the starter beyond this game.
  • ATL Guard #3
CJ McCollum finished Monday’s loss to the Bucks with 17 points (5-of-11 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, one block and two three-pointers.
With Zaccharie Risacher (knee) still out, the Hawks decided to go with Corey Kispert (two points, one rebound, one assist and one steal) as the fifth starter instead of McCollum or Vit Krejčí (zero points, two assists). However, this did not prevent McCollum from being the one on the court as the Hawks mounted a fourth-quarter rally. More concerning than the role was McCollum playing 24 minutes. If he can consistently get into the high-20s, the veteran guard will have an easier time preserving most of his fantasy value.
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker recorded 32 points (9-of-20 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and seven three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Bucks.
Alexander-Walker was on a heater during the fourth quarter, making five of his six three-point attempts. After recording five 30-point stat lines in his first six NBA seasons, the Hawks’ guard has seven such games during the 2025-26 campaign. Alexander-Walker is on track to be one of the heroes of the fantasy basketball season, as he has exceeded expectations by a significant margin.
  • ATL Guard #5
Dyson Daniels amassed 17 points (8-of-16 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), nine rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and one blocked shot in Monday’s loss to the Bucks.
Daniels, who recorded his seventh double-double of the season, finished three assists shy of his career-high on Monday. He was one rebound shy of his second triple-double, and Daniels has been a top-15 per-game player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. After getting off to a slow start, the Hawks’ guard is headed in the right direction in terms of fantasy value.
  • ATL Forward #1
Jalen Johnson accounted for 28 points (11-of-24 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), 16 rebounds, six assists, one block and three three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Bucks.
Johnson produced another excellent stat line, finishing with his 28th double-double of the season. At this time last season, which is about when a shoulder injury sidelined him for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign, the Hawks forward had 20 double-doubles. Included in Monday’s stat line were 16 rebounds, two shy of his season and career-high. Look for Johnson to continue to flourish, and it would be unsurprising if he were named an All-Star reserve later this month.
