Toumani Camara finished Monday’s win over the Nets with 35 points (10-of-12 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and nine three-pointers.
Camara has made multiple three-pointers in four of his last five games, but Monday’s performance took the cake. Banking in his first three-point attempt was a sign of things to come, as the Trail Blazers’ forward started the night 8-of-8 from three. That’s a franchise record for consecutive three-pointers without a miss, passing Terry Porter’s seven. Camara finished the night 9-of-11 from deep, recording the second 30-point game of his career. Portland plays three more games in Week 22, and they’re all against teams headed to the draft lottery.
