Franz Wagner recorded 12 points (5-of-13 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), one rebound and two assists in Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks.

Available to play for the first time since February 11, Wagner logged 20 minutes as part of the Magic starting lineup. The rust was most evident in his perimeter shot, with Wagner missing all six of his three-point attempts. Tristan da Silva, a fixture in the starting lineup while Wagner was out, played 23 minutes off the bench and finished with nine points (2-of-5 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, six assists and one steal. Orlando has games on Friday and Sunday, with the second being the first of two in as many nights. We’ll see if Wagner gets one or two more games during championship week in Yahoo! default leagues.

Peyton Watson accumulated 15 points (5-of-13 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist, three steals and four blocks in Monday’s win over the Timberwolves.

After two quiet outings to begin his time with the Cavaliers, Watson had his best all-around performance on Monday. While the field-goal percentage may not have been as high as some fantasy managers would hope, the rebounds, steals and blocks were a great way for Watson to begin Week 2.
Can Bam and Giannis get the Heat back on track?
The Dan Le Batard Show talks about the Miami Heat's disappointing start to the season and whether Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo can lift the Heat out of this early funk.

Donovan Mitchell accounted for 26 points (10-of-21 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block and five three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Timberwolves.

Cleveland had the “rest advantage” for Monday’s game, as Minnesota played the day prior, and that may have eventually caught up to the Timberwolves. Mitchell scored 12 of his 26 points in the second half, including seven in the fourth quarter. Shooting 5-of-9 from beyond the arc, Spida finished with a complete stat line in the 127-125 overtime win, a good start to Week 2.

Lauri Markkanen (wrist) ruled out vs. Grizzles

Markkanen’s wrist looked to bend backwards going through a screen, and shortly afterwards headed to the locker room. This is something worth monitoring over the next few days, with the Jazz’s next game on Wednesday against the Spurs.

Moussa Diabaté recorded a double-double on Monday with 11 points (4-of-6 FGs), 17 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three blocks against the Wizards.

It has been a relatively quiet start to the season for Diabaté, but he was able to showcase just how good he is as a rebounder in this one. This was the third-highest rebounding total he’s had in a single game, which contributed to Charlotte’s third win of the season. Diabaté should continue to be a beast on the glass, and any other contributions in other categories are just icing on the cake.

Jaren Jackson (knee) will not return vs. Grizzles

Jackson was hit in the knee during Monday’s contest against the Grizzles and went to the locker room afterwards. Fantasy manager should keep an eye out to see the forwards status for Wednesday’s tilt vs. the Spurs.

Naz Reid posted a double-double on Monday with 18 points (8-of-22 FGs), 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two three-pointers against the Wizards.

It was a rough start to this game for Reid, and he had just two points on 1-of-3 FGs through three quarters. However, he was incredibly aggressive in the fourth quarter, and it paid off. He had 16 points and seven rebounds in just the fourth quarter, which allowed Charlotte to hang on to the win despite a big fourth quarter from Washington. Reid has gotten off to a strong start to the year for Charlotte and should continue to be a big part of their offense.

Joan Beringer finished Monday’s loss to the Cavaliers with 12 points (6-of-6 FGs), seven rebounds and two blocked shots.

On a night when starting center Rudy Gobert (five points, 19 rebounds, two assists and one block) shot 0-of-8 from the field, Beringer stepped up with the fifth double-digit scoring night of his young NBA career. He was perfect from the field while also providing solid rebounding and shot-blocking. Beringer still isn’t at the point where he should be rostered in redraft leagues, but his long-term outlook is good.

Meleek Thomas tallied 16 points (6-of-10 FGs), two rebounds, one steal and four three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Timberwolves.

After sitting out Cleveland’s first two games, Thomas checked into Monday’s contest with 5:53 left in the first quarter. The rookie wing wasn’t bashful, shooting 3-of-5 from the field and scoring eight points in the period. Thomas’ 16 points were the third-most on the team, behind Donovan Mitchell and James Harden. While he did most of his damage in two categories, points and three-pointers, Thomas may have done enough to stick in the rotation.

Caleb Wilson recorded 17 points (7-of-15 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in Monday’s loss to the Celtics.

Monday’s matchup was tough for Wilson, as the Celtics rolled out a lineup led by Jayson Tatum and Paul George. However, the rookie forward finished Monday’s defeat 6-of-10 from two and managed to do a little bit of everything in his 32 minutes on the floor. The Bulls may be 1-3, but Wilson’s start to the season has been encouraging overall.

Norman Powell tallied 20 points (5-of-11 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), one rebound, two assists, four steals and four three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Celtics.

Powell’s shot fell at a higher rate than it did during the opening week, with the veteran guard shooting 34.1 percent from the field in Chicago’s first three games. A bonus for fantasy managers was four steals, bringing Powell’s total to 10 over four games. He’s averaged at least one steal per game each of the last two seasons, so Powell managers may get a little more value in that category.
