Jordan Goodwin (calf) is questionable for Game 3 against the Thunder on Saturday.
Goodwin missed Game 2 with a calf injury, leading to Collin Gillespie moving into the starting lineup. Gillespie had seven points, six rebounds and six assists in 29 minutes. Listed as questionable for Game 3, Goodwin will likely slide back into the starting lineup if he’s available.
  • CLE Guard-Forward #2

James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen will start Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Raptors.
The rumblings that Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson was considering a change to his starting lineup have been proven true. Strus, who was a starter for most of last season, moves into the starting five for Wednesday’s game, with Dean Wade heading to the bench. The other four starters are unchanged.
Crawford compares how MJ, Wembanyama changed NBA
Jamal Crawford joins Dan Patrick to dive into several topics around the association, comparing the different ways in which Michael Jordan, Victor Wembanyama, and other stars changed the NBA.
  • ORL Forward #8
Jalen Suggs, Desmond Bane, Jamal Cain, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Pistons.
The Magic won’t have Franz Wagner (calf) for Game 5, and he could miss multiple games. While Anthony Black and Tristan da Silva have been the replacements in the starting lineup in the past, they’ll come off the bench for Wednesday’s game. Cain has received the nod, and he played quality minutes in Orlando’s Game 4 victory.
  • DET Guard-Forward #27
Kevin Huerter (adductor) is out for Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Magic.
Initially questionable for Game 5, Huerter is now officially out. Given Detroit’s lack of consistent perimeter shooters, Red Velvet’s absence could be more impactful than many expect, even with limited playing time. The Pistons will need their “others” on the perimeter to offer more consistent shooting to supplement Cade Cunningham.
  • DEN Forward #32
Aaron Gordon (calf) is questionable for Thursday’s Game 6 against the Timberwolves.
Gordon did not play in Denver’s Game 5 victory on Monday, resulting in a move into the starting lineup for Spencer Jones. Shooting 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, Jones tallied 20 points, three steals and three blocked shots to help the Nuggets keep their season alive. He’ll get another start if Gordon remains out for another game.
  • DEN Guard #8
Peyton Watson (hamstring) is out for Thursday’s Game 6 against the Timberwolves.
Due to a strained right hamstring, Watson has not appeared in a game since April 1. That will remain the case for Game 6, resulting in more minutes for fellow reserves Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown.
  • ORL Forward #1
Jonathan Isaac (knee) is out for Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Pistons.
Isaac has yet to appear in these playoffs, and that won’t change on Wednesday. Even with Franz Wagner (calf) also out, Isaac’s continued absence will not significantly affect the Magic frontcourt rotation.
  • ORL Forward #22
Franz Wagner (calf) is out for Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Pistons.
Wagner was not expected to be available for Game 5, and he is now officially out. Anthony Black is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup, but there will also be additional playing time for Tristan da Silva and Jamal Cain as the Magic look to close out the Pistons. Wagner does not have a return timeline, so he may be down for multiple games.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (appendicitis) is probable for Thursday’s Game 6 against the Celtics.
After playing 34 minutes in his return to the 76ers’ lineup for Game 4, Embiid logged 39 minutes in Tuesday’s Game 5 victory. He’ll likely take on a similar workload for Game 6 as the 76ers look to force a Game 7 on Saturday in Boston.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart (back) is questionable for Thursday’s Game 6 against the Hawks.
Hart is dealing with a lower back contusion, calling into question his availability for Game 5. However, given what’s on the lineup and his importance to the Knicks, it would be shocking if Hart was not on the floor as New York looks to close out the Hawks.
  • MIN Guard #8
Bones Hyland (knee) is questionable for Thursday’s Game 6 against the Nuggets.
Under normal circumstances, Hyland’s availability would not significantly affect the Timberwolves’ rotation. However, he has taken on added responsibilities with Anthony Edwards (knee) and Donte DiVincenzo (Achilles) sidelined. If Hyland can’t play on Thursday, look for Terrence Shannon Jr. to see his playing time increase after logging 14 minutes in Game 5.
