It was a relatively quiet night for the reigning Finals MVP, who did not reach the 20-point mark on Tuesday. He also failed to convert a three-pointer in the win, and his unspectacular night was underscored by a seven-turnover performance. SGA never truly found a rhythm on the offensive end, but still finished as OKC’s leader in assists on the evening. He’ll have another crack at this Lakers defense on Thursday when the Thunder try to take a 2-0 series lead.

Allen bounced back from an underwhelming two-point performance in Game 1 to tie his high for points in a game this postseason. Per usual, the veteran center did all of his work inside the arc, but also utilized the charity stripe to tally his points. He finished as Cleveland’s second leading scorer on the evening while finishing as the team’s best rebounder in his 31 minutes. The Cavaliers will hope Allen can provide similar individual production in Game 3.

Mitchell was one of the very few Cavaliers to have success on the offensive end in Game 2. He accounted for nearly one-third of the team’s made field goals and, even with inefficient three-point shooting, found other ways to somewhat efficiently hit the 30-point mark. A repeat performance from Mitchell in Game would be great for Cleveland — they’ll just need multiple others to find their way offensively. He’s scored at least 20 points in each of the last four games.

Harden struggled to find his flow on offense in Game 2. For the second time this postseason, he was held to only three made field goals, but failed to make a three-pointer for the first time. As he narrowly snuck into double figures as a scorer, the former league MVP also didn’t make much of an impact as a passer; his three assists tied his low for this postseason. He will almost certainly need to bounce back with a much greater performance in Game 3 for the Cavs to avoid falling behind by three games.

Like several Pistons, Robinson built his offensive production little by little on Thursday. He made at least one three-pointer in every quarter and never tallied more than six points in any period. Yet, the veteran sharpshooter finished as Detroit’s third leading scorer on the evening and totaled as many three-pointers in Game 2 as he did in Game 1. Robinson has found his rhythm early on in the series and will hope to bring it to Cleveland, where the series will flip for Game 3.

Harris was steady throughout Thursday’s contest. He picked his spots and never dominated, but found solid production in each of the four quarters, ultimately leading to his seventh straight 20-point game of the postseason. In Game 2, his scoring production came from a combination of strong three-point shooting and effective scoring inside the arc in Game 2. He rounded out his strong performance by tallying seven boards and four stocks on the defensive end. The veteran has remained a valuable piece for the Pistons throughout the playoffs. He’ll have a chance to produce again in Game 3.

Cunningham closed the show with a stellar 12-point fourth quarter in Thursday’s contest to help the Pistons take a 2-0 series lead, with his late three-pointer to put Detroit up by nine points with 2:12 left serving as the dagger. He’d ultimately finish with more points and assists than in Game 1, while his three stocks in 42 minutes were also noteworthy. Cunningham has been fantastic throughout the postseason and will have a chance to remain productive in Game 3.

Vanderbilt’s dislocated finger, suffered early in Tuesday’s series opener, will keep him on the sidelines for Game 2. His absence removes a versatile defender from the Lakers’ rotation, leaving more minutes off the bench available for Jake LaRavia. Vanderbilt tallied just six minutes in the Game 1 loss.

Kennard’s availability gives the Lakers another scoring option off the bench against a Thunder defense that has overwhelmed teams throughout its title defense. The three-point specialist hasn’t had much success since the beginning of the Lakers’ first-round series against the Rockets. He’s shot 2-of-10 from deep and totaled only 18 points over the last four games.

Despite a strong start to the postseason, Dosunmu has encountered bad injury luck recently. After returning from a calf injury to play in Game 2, he was limited to 10 minutes and exited early with heel pain. If able to play on Friday, his potential as a scorer and quality defender has been proven repeatedly during his time with the Timberwolves. Terrence Shannon Jr. should remain in a big role if Dosunmu doesn’t take the floor.

Thursday’s absence marks the fifth straight for Huerter, who last played in Game 4 of the first-round series against the Magic. The Pistons have won each of the four games that Hurter has missed, with Thursday’s contest giving them a chance to earn a fifth straight while taking a 2-0 lead. Expect Daniss Jenkins and Javonte Green to remain important contributors off the bench in Huerter’s absence.
