    Pistons waived Bobi Klintman.
The 37th overall pick in the 2024 draft, Klintman struggled with injuries for most of his two seasons with the Pistons. He appeared in 20 games, including 12 during the 2025-26 campaign. Klintman’s exit is a corresponding move, as the Pistons needed to free a standard contract slot to convert Tolu Smith’s two-way deal.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Bulls have waived Jaden Ivey.
Acquired from the Pistons at the trade deadline, Ivey appeared in just four games for the Bulls before being shut down for the rest of the season with a knee injury. On Monday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that the team is looking to move on from the guard following recent social media posts, including one disparaging the LGBTQ community. Not long after that report, Charania reported that the Bulls have waived Ivey.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Bucks are waiving Cam Thomas.
Waived by the Nets just after the February trade deadline, Thomas was unable to establish himself as a consistent member of the Bucks’ rotation after being signed for the rest of the season just before the All-Star break. There were a few high-scoring games, most notably a 34-point effort on February 11 against the Magic, but more often than not, he brought little to the table when he wasn’t scoring. Thomas will become an unrestricted free agent once he clears waivers.
  • NBA insider Michael Scotto reports that Vince Williams Jr. has been waived by the Jazz.
V-Dub was sent to Utah as part of the Jaren Jackson Jr. trade, and his tenure with the Jazz is over shortly after it started. Williams Jr. tore his left ACL in late February, and he’ll likely be sidelined to begin the 2026-27 campaign.

NBA insider Marc Stein reports that the Mavericks plan to waive Tyus Jones.
Having begun this season in Orlando, Jones was traded twice ahead of February’s trade deadline, ultimately landing in Dallas. He appeared in seven games for the Mavericks, averaging 3.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 15.9 minutes. According to Stein, Jones desires to join a team with postseason ambitions. Being waived by March 1 ensures that he’ll be eligible for the playoffs. Now that Dallas has an open roster spot, it may convert Ryan Nembhard to a standard contract.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Suns have waived Cole Anthony.
Anthony logged 35 appearances for the Bucks but failed to see much court time before getting moved to Phoenix at the trade deadline. He never played for the Suns, and he’ll get an opportunity to join a new team for the rest of the season. Anthony showcased high upside as a microwave scorer, playmaker and solid rebounder at his position when given ample playing time in Orlando. He should draw interest from multiple teams.
  • FA Guard #9
    Timberwolves waived Johnny Juzang.
After appearing in 64 games for the Jazz last season, Juzang made 21 appearances for the Timberwolves before being waived on Wednesday. His departure will free up a two-way contract slot, but it won’t affect fantasy basketball.
  • Magic waived Orlando Robinson.
Robinson, who was on a two-way contract, appeared in just four games for the Magic before the All-Star break. In a corresponding move that won’t affect fantasy basketball, the team signed wing Alex Morales to a two-way contract.
  • FA Shooting Guard #5
Malik Beasley has agreed to a contract with the Santurce Cangrejeros of Puerto Rico’s professional league.
Beasley, who has not been cleared to return to the NBA since being investigated by the US District Attorney’s Office for betting allegations, has decided to play in Puerto Rico. While teams in Europe and China expressed interest in the free-agent shooting guard, he has decided to sign with a team closer to the States. Depending on whether he’s cleared of any wrongdoing and allowed to sign with an NBA team by the end of June, Beasley will once again be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Jeremy Sochan plans to sign with the New York Knicks after clearing waivers.
Sochan has seen his playing time plummet this season, and he should take on an increased role with his new team. New York’s rotation is deep, so Sochan isn’t going to be productive enough to warrant a pickup in most fantasy leagues. For real-life hoops, however, he’ll add energy and tenacity to a Knicks team that recently added
