No scores again, and Lamb had only one red zone target for minus-2 yards. He also managed to get a play in which three separate Giants players were called for penalties negated via a taunting penalty. It doesn’t feel like Lamb is playing spectacular ball just yet ... and then you realize he has 222 yards in two games. The easy WR1 should be near the top of next week’s projections for next week’s shootout with the Bears.

It will be cold comfort for Charbonnet drafters that Charbonnet worked as Seattle’s lead back — out-carrying Ken Walker 15 to 10 — while producing basically nothing on the ground. Walker went off to the tune of 105 yards and a touchdown, along with 13 yards on one reception. Charbonnet was frequently hit in the backfield and got many of his opportunities in short yardage situations with eight or nine defenders in the box. Last week Charbonnet logged 12 rushes for 47 yards and a score. Charbonnet appears to be the Seahawks coaching staff’s favored back, for whatever that might be worth. Hopefully he can be slightly more efficient in Week 3 against the Saints.

Hard to be upset about Williams’ production through two games. He had 55 of Dallas’ 76 snaps in Week 2 and the Cowboys offensive line has been spectacular about creating holes for him, generating enough space for his 30-yard score to have Williams only dealing with arm tackles through the middle. He’s been a league-winning pick through two weeks, and neither Miles Sanders nor the inactive Jaydon Blue look particularly close to cutting into his snap share. We’ll be rolling with Williams as an RB2 in Week 3 against the Bears.

Kupp was very much involved in this one following his Week 1 dud against the Niners (two catches, 15 yards). Working almost entirely from the slot, Kupp saw nine targets on the day, one behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba for the team lead. His long play of the day was a 17-yard catch and run. Kupp hardly looked quick, but he got it done and Sam Darnold looked to him as a first target several times in the second half. Kupp and JSN combined to see 68 percent of the Seahawks’ targets. Kupp might be a flex play in Week 3 against the Saints.

It could have been a lot worse. Prescott started out just 14-of-21 with a pair of sacks in the first half, starting slow as the Cowboys went three-and-out on their first two drives. Prescott added a baffling pick on Dallas’ first play of scrimmage in the second half. Prescott managed 224 yards and a score in the second half and overtime, leading the team down the field for a go-ahead score in the fourth quarter and doing enough to get Brandon Aubrey into field goal range twice afterwards. The offensive line doesn’t look great and his connection with George Pickens isn’t fully formed yet, but he gets a tasty matchup against a recently-torched-by-the-Lions Bears defense in Week 3. Prescott remains on the QB1 line, though he’s not exactly close to threatening the top tier at this point.

Smith-Njigba got open at will and once again dominated air yards and targets in the Seattle offense. He commanded a 33 percent target share against the Steelers. JSN’s highlight of the day came on a 43-yard reception in single coverage on a well thrown ball from Sam Darnold. Smith-Njigba, who last week saw 90 percent of the team’s air yards and was targeted on 62 percent of his routes, now has 17 receptions with no touchdowns (he was targeted on 29 percent of his pass routes against the Steelers). That could change in Week 3 against a weak New Orleans coverage unit. JSN will easily be a top-10 play against the Saints.

It’s Robinson’s second-ever 100-yard game (he did 13/100/0 against the Lions in 2022) and his highest average yards per reception game ever on more than two attempts. Robinson spun some bad Cowboys pass rush and zone coverage into a beautiful fantasy football line. We don’t anticipate this continuing going forward, but Robinson should remain a viable FLEX play heading into the bye weeks and is an unexciting-but-sensible waiver claim on this target share. Week 3’s game against the Chiefs will probably look more like the PPR scam we are used to.

Trevon Diggs just didn’t have a chance against Nabers on his first touchdown, and Nabers caught what looked like a knockout blow second touchdown with less than a minute left in the game over Kaiir Elam. He obviously won’t cook like this every week, but these are the kinds of games that make Nabers’ talent hard to ignore. It’s the second-most yards in a game for Nabers in his young career, behind only his 7/171/2 destruction of the Colts in Week 17 last year. He’ll be on the WR1 line against the Chiefs in Week 3.

This one is a little concerning. Surtain was helped off the field with trainers on either side of him. He pulled up lame after the play, skipping on one leg before going down. As trainers tended to him, Surtain could be seen rubbing the front of his ankle joint.
