ESPN’s Anthony Slater reports that Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Pelicans and Wednesday’s matchup with the Grizzlies.

Porziņģis will be sidelined for a second and third straight game as Golden State completes a quick back-to-back set against New Orleans and Memphis. It’s unclear when KP will return, but Al Horford and Quinten Post should continue to soak up minutes in his absence.
Dejounte Murray

The Athletic’s Will Guillory reports that Dejounte Murray (Achilles) expects to make his season debut on Tuesday against Golden State.

This latest update adds further substance to earlier reports that Murray would make his season debut against the Warriors. After missing most of the season while recovering from a ruptured Achilles, Murray’s workload will surely limited. How many minutes he plays and what that means for Jeremiah Fears’ playing time remains to be seen.
Jalen Suggs

ORL Guard #4

Jalen Suggs (back) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Lakers.

Suggs has missed two straight games, but he’s got a chance to return against Los Angeles. If Suggs returns, Anthony Black’s playing time could be negatively impacted, but Black has standalone value regardless of Suggs’ availability.
Ty Jerome

MEM Guard-Forward #2

Ty Jerome (illness) is questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Kings.

Jerome is a late addition to the injury report, so his availability against Sacramento is dubious. If Jerome is sidelined, Cam Spencer could join the starting lineup with Scotty Pippen Jr. earning some additional run off the bench.
Dillon Brooks

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Dillon Brooks will miss 4-6 weeks due to a broken left hand.

Brooks is enjoying the best season of his career, and he’s been an integral part of Phoenix’s success. With Brooks sidelined, Collin Gillespie and Grayson Allen should see a bump in playing time, with Ryan Dunn also expected to see some additional run.
Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard amassed 37 points (14-of-25 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, three steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Magic.

Despite playing on a left ankle that caused him to exit Friday’s loss to the Lakers in crunch time, Leonard had another outstanding performance in a losing effort. Leading all scorers with 37 points, the Clippers’ star posted a robust stat line, including five “stocks.” A top-20 fantasy player over the past month, Leonard’s season-long value places him within the top-5 in eight- and nine-cat formats. As long as Kawhi remains healthy, those who have him rostered should be in excellent shape for the fantasy playoffs. The Clippers only play two games in Week 18, starting with the Timberwolves on Thursday.
Desmond Bane

ORL Guard #3

Desmond Bane accounted for 36 points (13-of-19 FGs, 6-of-10 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, two steals and four three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Clippers.

One day removed from scoring 34 points in a double-overtime loss to the Suns, Bane was even more productive against the Clippers. The 36 points were one shy of his season-high, and the Magic guard has scored 30 or more on three of his last four appearances. Over the past month, Bane has been a top-10 player in nine-cat formats, performing even better than fantasy managers hoped he would this season. The Magic conclude their road trip on Tuesday against the Lakers, the first of three games they’ll play during Week 18.
Guerschon Yabusele

CHI Forward #28

Guerschon Yabusele accounted for 11 points (4-of-8 FGs), 13 rebounds, one assist and three three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Knicks.

Playing against the Knicks for the first time since being traded at the deadline, Yabusele was productive in his 30 minutes on the floor. Shooting 50 percent from the field, the 6-foot-8 forward recorded his second double-double since joining the Bulls. And with Jalen Smith (calf) exiting Sunday’s game halfway through the third quarter and not returning, Yabusele and Nick Richards (nine points, 13 rebounds and one blocked shot) stand to play more if Smith misses time. The Bulls play three games in Week 18, starting with the Hornets on Tuesday.
Karl-Anthony Towns

NYK Center-Forward #32

Karl-Anthony Towns finished Sunday’s win over the Bulls with 28 points (10-of-17 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 11 rebounds, two assists, three steals and five three-pointers.

For the second straight night, Towns picked up the slack offensively when some of his Knicks teammates could not get going offensively. Having scored at least 21 points in five straight, KAT’s 28 on Sunday were the most in a game for him since he dropped 37 on the Hawks on December 27. The Knicks play three games in Week 18, starting with a critical matchup with the new-look Cavaliers on Tuesday.
Jalen Smith

Jalen Smith (calf) will not return to Sunday’s game against the Knicks.

Smith, who missed Chicago’s final three games before the All-Star break with a strained right calf, had to exit Sunday’s game due to tightness in the same calf. Clearly, that is a concern for the Bulls and for fantasy managers who hoped to rely on Smith during the silly season. Guerschon Yabusele has benefited the most from Smith’s early exit, and his fantasy value would increase if Smith has to miss time.
