Michael Porter Jr. (wrist), Day’Ron Sharpe (shoulder), Mikel Brown Jr. (ankle) and Joshua Jefferson (back) will all be sidelined against the 76ers on Thursday.

MPJ and Sharpe both played in the preseason opener on Tuesday, so it’s unlikely these injuries are severe enough to impact their status for the start of the regular season. As for Brown and Jefferson, neither rookie played in the preseason opener, with their next chance to debut coming on Monday in Washington.

Jonathan Kuminga accounted for 19 points (8-of-19 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Spurs.

After attempting just six shots in Friday’s win over the Clippers, Kuminga got up 19 on Saturday. His percentage wasn’t great, but the shot volume should be there while the Timberwolves await Anthony Edwards’ return from knee surgery. The same goes for Jaden McDaniels, who finished Saturday’s defeat with 19 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers.

Joan Beringer finished Saturday’s loss to the Spurs with 12 points (4-of-8 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Beringer made his first start of the season on Saturday, as Rudy Gobert (back) was out. Unfortunately for the second-year center, he had to match up with countryman Victor Wembanyama. Beringer played 34 minutes, and his points and rebounds production were solid. If Gobert remains out for Monday’s matchup with the Bucks, that will likely be a more manageable assignment for Beringer.

Ayo Dosunmu recorded 27 points (11-of-17 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Spurs.

Since moving into the Timberwolves’ starting lineup after Anthony Edwards’ knee injury, Dosunmu’s scoring output has increased with each game. His 27 points on Saturday were a season high, and he was highly efficient. Add in the rebounds and steals, and this was a good night for managers rostering Dosunmu. The Timberwolves play four games next week, starting with the Bucks on Monday.

De’Aaron Fox finished Saturday’s win over the Timberwolves with 22 points (8-of-10 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, seven assists and one block.

Fox had his best game of the season thus far, recording his first 20-point game while shooting 80 percent from the field. For the season, Fox is shooting 57.6 percent from the field and 80 percent from the foul line, and that efficiency has boosted his fantasy value.

Dylan Harper accounted for 25 points (9-of-17 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Timberwolves.

Harper scored 18 of his 25 points after halftime, shooting 6-of-10 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line. He finished with a season-high point total, and fantasy managers will also be pleased with his rebounds and assists. Tobias Harris (calf) isn’t expected to make his Spurs debut anytime soon, so any talk of starting lineup changes is irrelevant.

Victor Wembanyama tallied 43 points (17-of-34 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, six blocks and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves didn’t have Rudy Gobert (back) on Saturday, and Wemby took full advantage. The Spurs’ center took a career-high 34 shots, shot 50 percent from the field and finished with the tenth 40-point game of his career. Add in the rebounds and blocks, and this was an excellent end to the week for those rostering Wembanyama. The Spurs play four games next week, starting with the Jazz on Monday.

Kyle Kuzma amassed 14 points (6-of-12 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers.

Kuzma’s shot 50 percent or better from the field in four of his last five appearances, solid efficiency for a player who hasn’t been known for that in the past. However, the overall stat line probably wasn’t enough to convince managers in 12-team leagues to consider adding Kuzma. The Bucks open a four-game Week 3 on Monday against the Timberwolves.

Myles Turner produced 10 points (4-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers.

Turner had his hands full with Cleveland’s Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, who combined for 52 points and 16 rebounds. Milwaukee’s veteran center recorded a complete stat line, but the value was a bit limited beyond the rebounds and blocks. Kel’el Ware (19/10/3/1/2 with three-pointers) finished with a better stat line, but he played 12 of his 24 minutes in the fourth quarter after the outcome was no longer in doubt.

Tyler Herro finished Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers with 15 points (5-of-18 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and four three-pointers.

This wasn’t Herro’s best night, as he shot 1-of-7 from inside the arc. While the four three-pointers will please some fantasy managers, the overall output was disappointing. However, given the gap between the Bucks and Cavaliers, it wasn’t all that surprising. Herro will look to bounce back on Monday when the Bucks visit the Timberwolves. Milwaukee plays four games next week.

James Harden accumulated 13 points (4-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Bucks.

With the Cavaliers getting dominant efforts from Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, they didn’t need much from Harden or Donovan Mitchell (15/4/3 with two three-pointers) on Saturday. However, fantasy managers rostering either guard likely hoped for more production. Harden played 26 minutes on Saturday, checking out for the last time with 2:45 remaining in the third quarter.
