Amen Thompson recorded a double-double on Saturday with 17 points (4-of-12 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal in a 121-114 win over the Hawks.

Three games into the season, Thompson has three double-doubles. While that has been great for fantasy managers, it was the free throw shooting that stuck out. After shooting 3-of-5 in the opener, he has shot 10-of-10 over the last two games. Last season, he shot 77.9 percent from the floor after shooting 68.4 percent in each of his first two seasons. Any continued improvement will only make him more dangerous in fantasy basketball.
Perloff: Flagg is emerging as the face of the NBA
After watching Cooper Flagg lead his team to a win over the Thunder, Andrew Perloff believes the young Maverick is already becoming as the face of the league.

James Harden led the Cavaliers with 24 points (7-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, four assists and three three-pointers in a 114-111 loss to the Hawks on Thursday.

Harden has been underwhelming this season, with his scoring, assists and shooting efficiency all down. However, he was able to get his shot going in this one, and he ended up scoring at least 20 points for the first time this season while also having his best field goal percentage of the season. However, the trade-off was a new season low for assists. Harden should be better as the season progresses, but he may not play to his third-round ADP.

Robert Williams (knee) has been ruled out against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Williams was initially listed as doubtful, and now he has officially been downgraded. He’s dealing with soreness, and the team is considering this a precautionary move. Yang Hansen and Micah Potter should fill out the backup center minutes behind Donovan Clingan.

Gui Santos (knee) is doubtful to play against the Lakers on Friday.

Santos missed Wednesday’s game against Minnesota, which led to Georges Niang logging 22 minutes as a starter. Niang should be in line to start again but isn’t a player that’s worth streaming in any fantasy format.

Ziaire Williams (foot) is questionable to play against the Warriors on Friday.

Williams missed Wednesday’s game, which resulted in Jake LaRavia starting and playing 35 minutes. LaRavia contributed 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks and will likely head back to the bench if Williams is available to play.

Luka Dončić (back) is not on the injury report against the Warriors on Friday.

Dončić missed Wednesday’s game against the Clippers, which came on the second night of a back-to-back. He’ll be back to his usual spot in the starting lineup, which will likely push Quentin Grimes back to the bench following a productive spot start.

Alpha Diallo (personal) is questionable to play against the Suns on Friday.

Diallo has missed Denver’s last three games but could return for this one. He didn’t provide much value in his 22 minutes off the bench in the season opener, but he may be part of the rotation when he is available again.

Spencer Jones (hamstring) has been ruled out against the Suns on Friday.

Jones still hasn’t played this season, and it will be at least one more game before he debuts. Trevon Brazile has been fantastic and should continue to shine, likely even after Jones returns to the lineup.

Cameron Johnson (ankle) is questionable to play against the Suns on Friday.

Johnson has missed Denver’s last three games and could end up missing a fourth. Bryce Hopkins had been starting in his place, but it was Trevon Brazile that got the nod in their last game. Brazile should be worth streaming if he gets another start.

Jaylon Tyson (neck) is available to play against the Hawks on Thursday.

Tyson was initially listed as questionable for this game but has officially been cleared to suit up. He’ll continue to play his typical significant role off the bench, which has led to inconsistent production this season.

Meleek Thomas (foot) has been ruled out against the Hawks on Thursday.

Thomas has been playing a large role off the bench lately for Cleveland, but he won’t be available for this game. In his absence, Tyrese Proctor and Craig Porter Jr. may take on a few extra minutes, though neither will play enough to warrant a roster spot in fantasy basketball.
