Yanic Konan Niederhäuser (foot) will not travel with the Clippers for their upcoming two-game road trip.

Niederhäuser is working his way back from a Lisfranc injury that ended his rookie season in early March. He’s progressing in his recovery, and the team has decided he will stay home to continue that process rather than travel with the Clippers for road games on Friday and Sunday. Thus far, the Clippers have relied mainly on Isaiah Jackson and Brook Lopez at center, with rookie Baba Miller getting a few minutes as well.

Clint Capela (ankle) has been ruled out against the Timberwolves on Wednesday.

Capela will miss a second straight game, which should allow Oscar Tshiebwe to play the backup center minutes. However, he only played a few minutes on Monday, so Tshiebwe shouldn’t be streamed just because Capela is out.

Trey Murphy (knee) has been downgraded to questionable to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.

While there is still a chance Murphy plays, trending down is never a good sign. If he doesn’t suit up, there is a decent chance Herb Jones remains a starter, even with Dejounte Murray returning. Saddiq Bey would also be in line for extra minutes.

Terrence Shannon Jr. (hip) has been ruled out against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Shannon will miss a second straight game with this hip injury. Jaylen Clark ended up taking on extra minutes as a reserve on Monday, which will likely happen again, though he isn’t a player to consider streaming in.

Josh Hart (ankle) has been ruled out against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Hart will miss a game for the first time this season, which will open up a spot in the starting unit. Landry Shamet is the likely replacement in the starting unit, especially after he led the team in scoring 23 points on Monday.

Kon Knueppel (hamstring) has been upgraded to available to play against the Nets on Wednesday.

Knueppel missed the first eight games of the season, but he’ll be able to suit up against Brooklyn. It’s worth noting that Coby White (calf) made his season debut in Charlotte’s last game and played 16 minutes as a starter. The lopsided score could have been a factor, but the expectation should be that Knueppel replaces Sion James as a starter, though he likely plays a small role in this game. Grayson Allen will likely lose out on minutes with Knueppel back.

Kam Jones (ankle) is questionable to play against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Jones has not appeared in a game for Milwaukee this season, so his status for this game won’t alter the Bucks’ rotation.

Jayson Tatum (rest) has been ruled out against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Tatum will get the night off after playing on both Sunday and Monday. He hasn’t shot the ball particularly well, so a rest night could do him some good. Paul George will be back after missing Monday’s game, so the rest of the starting unit should remain the same, with George filling in for Tatum.

Bilal Coulibaly (illness) is questionable to play against the Hawks on Wednesday.

Coulibaly is a late addition to the injury report, and while he hasn’t played as much since AJ Dybantsa debuted, though he has still played a significant reserve role. If he misses this game, Tre Johnson and Will Riley would step into extra minutes off the bench.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Warriors are not delivering payments to Kristaps Porziņģis, ruling that he is “not rendering services.”

Porziņģis re-signed with the Warriors on a two-year, $40 million deal at the start of free agency. Since then, Porziņģis hasn’t really been around the team, and there have been reports that the team doesn’t expect him to suit up for them again. This won’t help those odds, and if Porziņģis suits up this season, it seems likely it will be for a different team. However, a team could trade for Porziņģis with the intention to buy him out to save some money.

Reece Beekman (shoulder) will be re-evaluated in late November.

Beekman has an issue with the AC joint in his right shoulder that will keep him sidelined for at least three weeks. He played one minute against the Raptors in October and hasn’t seen the floor since. His absence won’t alter the Wizards’ rotation.
