Jaylen Brown (knee) accounted for 16 points (6-of-15 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), four rebounds, four assists and two steals in Saturday’s win over the Hornets.
Back in action after sitting out Friday’s win over the Knicks with left patellar tendinopathy, Brown played 38 minutes against the Hornets. Even with LeBron James and Joel Embiid out, the playing time was somewhat surprising, given the injury Brown was returning from. The good news is that Philadelphia’s schedule for next week doesn’t have a back-to-back. Hopefully, that bodes well for Brown’s availability.
