Ochai Agbaji was the lone bright spot in Cleveland’s loss to the Hornets on Wednesday, scoring 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting (6-of-6 FTs) to go with three rebounds, one assist, three steals, four 3-pointers and no turnovers in 29 minutes.
The lottery pick struggled on Sunday but looked worlds better this evening, putting together his best Summer League performance by a hefty margin. Besides the swipes and treys, Agbaji didn’t add a ton else to his stat line in Wednesday’s loss, but that was more or less the story for him with his only notable stats from his final year at Kansas being his rebounds (5.1 per game) and made triples (2.6 per game). So far, it doesn’t look like his game is all too fantasy-friendly, but things can change in no time if he earns the trust of head coach J.B. Bickerstaff and gets playing time in his rookie season, but he’s no more than a watch-list guy when fantasy drafts roll around. The only other players on Cleveland’s side to reach double digits in the scoring column were Cameron Young (11 points) and Amauri Hardy (10 points), which wouldn’t have happened without garbage time, while Isaiah Mobley grabbed 11 rebounds and swatted two shots in a start but shot just 3-of-11 from the floor.

Jahmai Mashack started on Wednesday and contributed nine points (4-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer against the Nuggets.
This was the second time in their last three games that Mashack started for the Grizzlies. The former Tennessee Volunteer was drafted late in the second round this past summer, and after not seeing much time to start his career, he has taken on a larger role over the last five games. The scoring has been inconsistent, but his elite defense in college has transferred over; he has at least two steals in each of his last five games and is averaging 3.2 swipes during this stretch.
Highlights: Randle notches 41 points on Portland
Julius Randle leads the way for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who get a win heading into the all-star break.
  • PHX Guard-Forward #3
Dillon Brooks led the Suns with 23 points (9-of-19 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one three-pointer in a 136-109 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday.
Brooks was the leading scorer in an ugly loss for Phoenix, and he was able to have a productive night. However, he also picked up his 16th technical foul of the season. Unless it is rescinded, he will serve a one-game suspension against the Spurs on Feb. 19 and could miss more games if he continues to pick up technicals. Brooks has been incredible this season and has been red-hot on offense lately. He has scored at least 20 points in four straight games and in nine of his last 10 games.
  • OKC Guard #11
Isaiah Joe provided a boost off the bench with 21 points (6-of-10 FGs), one rebound, one assist and six three-pointers on Wednesday against the Suns.
Joe was the leading scorer for OKC’s bench unit in this game, but it was a group effort to get the big win. Seven players scored in double figures for the Thunder, including five reserves. The bench unit accounted for 74 of OKC’s 136 points, with Joe leading the way in just 18 minutes. Joe is an elite shooter that can have performances like his when he gets the opportunity, but the minutes haven’t been consistent enough for him to be a standard league option.
  • OKC Guard-Forward #8
Jalen Williams led the Thunder with 28 points (11-of-12 FGs), four rebounds, five assists and two three-pointers in a 136-109 win over the Suns on Wednesday.
Williams struggled with his shot on Monday, which was his first game after missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury. However, he was incredibly efficient during his 20 minutes in this game. He only missed one shot in the blowout win. This was the first leg of a back-to-back, so there is certainly a chance that Williams sits out against the Bucks on Thursday to avoid aggravating his hamstring.
  • HOU Forward #7
Kevin Durant led the Rockets with 21 points (7-of-15 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, one block, three three-pointers and eight turnovers in a 105-102 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday.
This was a decent performance for KD, but turnovers continue to be an issue for him. Over his last four games, Durant has averaged 5.8 turnovers per game, which has limited his value in category leagues. He’ll get some time to recover during the All-Star break after playing in the All-Star Game, so hopefully the turnovers won’t continue to plague his value down the stretch of the season.
  • HOU Forward #10
Jabari Smith Jr. recorded a double-double on Wednesday with 16 points (6-of-12 FGs), 12 rebounds and two three-pointers against the Clippers.
This was the third straight game that Smith was able to record a double-double, which is his second-longest streak of the season. He had four straight in mid-December and will look to match that mark in Houston’s first game after the All-Star break. Smith has been excellent over the last two weeks and has contribute plenty of defensive stats, even though he didn’t in this game. He had at least one block in seven straight games before failing to swat a shot in this one.
  • HOU Forward #17
Tari Eason finished with 13 points (4-of-13 FGs), two rebounds, three assists and two three-pointers against the Clippers on Wednesday.
This wasn’t a productive outing for Eason, but it was still an encouraging one. After logging 30 minutes on Tuesday, he played 34 minutes in this one, which was his first time playing both legs of a back-to-back since 2024. He struggled in both games, but if he can continue to be available like this, then he should be a strong options for fantasy managers over the final two months of this season.
  • LAC Guard-Forward #9
Bennedict Mathurin provided a boost off the bench with 16 points (3-of-10 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and one three-pointer on Wednesday against the Rockets.
Mathurin was held to just nine points in his debut for the Clippers, and while he still struggled with his shot in this game, he was able to get to the free throw line, which helped him score in double figures. He also finished with exactly three steals for a second straight game, which was never a strong category for him. Managers shouldn’t expect that to continue, but it has been a nice boost during his first two games as a Clipper.
  • LAC Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 27 points (9-of-20 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), 12 rebounds, four assists, four steals and one three-pointer in a 105-102 win over the Rockets on Wednesday.
The first three quarters were rough for Kawhi, but he caught fire late. He scored 19 of his 27 points in the final frame, which included a game-winning and-one over Amen Thompson. It was a vintage final frame from Leonard in what has been an incredible season for him. He’ll play in the All-Star Game this weekend and then get a few days off before looking to stay hot over the final two months of the season.
  • SAC Guard #22
Devin Carter accounted for 19 points (4-of-13 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s loss to the Jazz.
