According to ESPN’s Marc Spears, the Warriors have received calls from teams looking into the availability of Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga.
On the heels of the Warriors winning the championship last season, Poole was rewarded with a contract worth $123 million over four years that will go into effect in 2023-24. But this past season was disappointing for him, despite 20.4 points and 4.5 assists per game. Comparatively speaking, Poole’s impact was muted due in part to his move back to the bench. But would the Warriors consider trading him, given the age of the team’s “big three” of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green? While a trade would free up money, the risks will also be considered. As for Kuminga, his role this season wasn’t as prominent as he would have hoped, limiting his production and fantasy value. Should they do something, he’s still on his rookie contract, so a move there may be easier for the Warriors to pull off. Between free agency, the statuses of Poole and Kuminga, and the draft, new GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. will have a lot on his plate this summer.

Amen Thompson, Kevin Durant, Tari Eason, Jabari Smith Jr. and Alperen Şengün will start Wednesday’s game against the Lakers.
The lone change to the Rockets’ starting lineup is Şengün, who is back after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Lakers. His return means that Clint Capela will head to the bench, and he may fall out of the rotation entirely.

  • SAC Guard #5
Nique Clifford (hamstring) and Malik Monk (ankle) are questionable for Thursday’s game against the 76ers.
While Clifford has not missed any time, hamstring injuries can be tricky. As for Monk, he has missed the last four games, resulting in more playing time for Daeqwon Plowden. While he did exit Tuesday’s loss to the Spurs with a left leg injury, Plowden is not on the injury report for Thursday night.
  • SAC Guard #22
Devin Carter (calf) is out for Thursday’s game against the 76ers.
Carter continues to miss time with a calf injury, leaving Killian Hayes to handle the backup point guard duties in his absence. As long as the Kings are starting Russell Westbrook, there isn’t much to gain from rostering Hayes.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney (wrist) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
Clowney suffered a sprained right wrist during the first quarter of Wednesday’s game and will not return. He played eight minutes, finishing with three points (1-of-5 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) and two rebounds. Danny Wolf and Chaney Johnson are two players whose minutes may increase with Clowney done for the night, with the former already in the starting lineup.
  • PHI Forward #33
Jabari Walker (illness) is not on the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Kings.
Walker is good to go after missing Philadelphia’s last three games due to illness. He’ll provide additional depth off the bench, possibly resulting in fewer minutes for fellow reserve Trendon Watford.
  • DEN Forward #21
Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Cameron Johnson, Spencer Jones and Nikola Jokić will start Wednesday’s game against the Grizzlies.
The Nuggets won’t have Aaron Gordon for Wednesday’s game, as he’s sitting out the second game of the team’s back-to-back. Jones moves to the starting lineup, where he offers some deep-league streaming value.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (oblique) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Kings.
While the doubtful tag suggests that Embiid is not ready to return to action, it is a step in the right direction. When available, Adem Bona has been his replacement in the starting lineup, and there was a game last week when Dominick Barlow had to slide from power forward to center due to the 76ers’ injuries at the five.
  • MEM Guard #21
Jahmai Mashack (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Mashack’s ankle injury will keep him out of Wednesday’s contest, which frees up additional minutes for DeJon Jarreau and Tyler Burton. Neither player is worth the streaming risk in fantasy leagues.
  • LAC Forward-Center #20
Darius Garland, Kawhi Leonard, Derrick Jones Jr., John Collins and Brook Lopez will start Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.
Leonard is back in the lineup after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Spurs. However, it will be Kris Dunn who heads to the bench, with Collins remaining in the starting five. While valuable as a defender, Dunn’s limited offensive output has made him a non-factor in most fantasy formats.
  • UTA Center #22
Isaiah Collier, Ace Bailey, Brice Sensabaugh, Cody Williams and Kyle Filipowski will start Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Bailey and Filipowski are back in the Jazz starting lineup, the former returning after a three-game absence due to concussion protocols. As a result, EJ Harkless and Andersson Garcia will come off the bench.
