  • HOU Center #2

Jock Landale (concussion) has been ruled out for Friday’s matchup with the Spurs.
It’s not ideal to face this Spurs team for the first time without your backup center, but that’s what the Rockets will have to do. Boban Marjanovic is the only other center option on the roster, so he may play a small role off the bench. We could also see Ime Udoka experiment with Jabari Smith at center in a small ball lineup, but Alperen Sengun will have to stay out of foul trouble in this game.
  • MIA Guard #24

Norman Powell had 38 points (12-of-22 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, one steal and eight three-pointers against the Knicks on Friday.
Powell only has two games with at least 30 points this season, but both have come in his last three games. The 32-year-old shooting guard was basically unstoppable, scoring 38 points on 22 shots and going 8-of-15 from behind the three-point line. Powell has proven in recent years that he’s one of the best scorers in the league and will continue to be one of the Heat’s top players.
    Highlights: Towns, Knicks outlast Heat
The New York Knicks and Miami Heat exchanged leads throughout the majority of the match, but it was the Knicks who were able to outlast the Heat and secure the win.
  • NYK Guard #00
Jordan Clarkson had 24 points (6-of-13 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs), five rebounds, three assists and three three-pointers against the Heat on Friday.
With Jalen Brunson out Friday against the Heat, Clarkson played the most minutes (33) and scored the most points (24) that he’d had in a game this season. The 33-year-old point guard is averaging 15.8 minutes and 9.1 points this year, which simply isn’t enough to be fantasy viable in his typical role.
  • NYK Guard #44
Landry Shamet had 36 points (12-of-19 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, three assists and six three-pointers against the Heat on Friday.
Shamet had a unique opportunity in this game. With Jalen Brunson out and OG Anunoby leaving the game early, the 28-year-old shooting guard saw 37 minutes against the Heat. Shamet had to play at a certain point as he was on fire and ended up with 36 points, which was the most of any bench player this season. He’s best used in deeper formats for his scoring and three-point shooting.
  • NYK Center-Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns had 39 points (13-of-26 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal and six three-pointers in the Knicks’ 140-132 victory over the Heat on Friday.
Towns only had one 30-point game on the season entering play Friday, but dropped 31 points in the first half against the Heat. The 29-year-old center became the fifth player in Knicks history to score at least 30 points in the first half. Towns scored more points Friday (39) than he had in his previous two games combined (36). Hopefully, he’ll be able to build on this performance and increase his scoring average to be in line with last year’s.
  • PHI Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey had 31 points (13-of-31 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, four steals and two three-pointers against the Pistons on Friday.
Maxey had at least 30 points for the third time in his last four games. The 25-year-old point guard has had at least 21 points in every game he’s played this season. The three assists Maxey had Friday were his lowest total of the season. The 76ers are off until Monday against the Clippers.
  • DET Forward #7
Paul Reed had 10 points (5-of-9 FGs), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks against the 76ers on Friday.
Even with Isaiah Stewart back from injury, Reed got the start with Jalen Duren (ankle) still out. The 26-year-old center didn’t have 28 points again like he did Wednesday, but he was still a factor on the glass with eight rebounds and on defense with two steals and three blocks. Reed is going to have value whenever one of Stewart or Duren are out this year.
  • ORL Forward #23
Tristan da Silva started on Friday and contributed 22 points (8-of-14 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and five three-pointers against the Nets.
With Paolo Banchero (groin) sidelined, da Silva slid into the starting unit and took full advantage of the opportunity. He played 32 minutes and had his best offensive performance of the season, which included a clutch triple with less than two minutes left to get Orlando within a point. It’s unclear how long Banchero will be sidelined, but if he remains out, da Silva should be worth streaming. He’s currently available in 96 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
  • DET Guard #24
Daniss Jenkins had 19 points (6-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, one steal and five three-pointers against the 76ers on Friday.
Jenkins was once again a factor for the Pistons on their nine-game winning streak. The 24-year-old point guard made five three-pointers and had eight assists. Over the last three games, Jenkins is averaging 20.3 points, 7.7 assists and 5.0 rebounds. He’s shown more than any Pistons backup point guard in years and is trending towards having earned a standard contract. Jenkins is worth rostering given the Pistons’ precarious health situation.
  • ORL Guard #4
Jalen Suggs finished with 14 points (5-of-11 FGs), seven rebounds, six assists, one block, two three-pointers and five turnovers against the Nets on Friday.
Turnovers aside, Suggs had a productive night against Brooklyn, but what is most encouraging is the minutes. He logged 28 minutes and has played at least 25 minutes in each of his last three games. Considering he had been limited to roughly 20 minutes prior to that, he’s clearly getting closer to being at full strength. That doesn’t mean he’s going to play back-to-backs, but this is a positive development for Suggs.
  • DET Guard #31
Javonte Green had 21 points (5-of-12 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in the Pistons’ 114-105 victory over the 76ers on Friday.
Green led the Pistons in minutes with 37 and points with 21 in the victory over the 76ers on Friday. The 32-year-old shooting guard was the primary scorer for a Detroit team missing nearly all of its starters. Green will continue to be a deep league streamer while the Pistons are still missing regulars.
