Malcolm Brogdon played 34 minutes in Sunday’s 108-102 loss to Milwaukee, accumulating 18 points (7-of-23 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, one block, and two 3-pointers.
Outside of the shooting and the result, Brogdon had a good day against the team that selected him in the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft. Hitting double figures in assists for the second time this season, his 12 helpers were a new season-high. Starting backcourt partner Shaedon Sharpe 17/6/3/2 with one 3-pointer) also struggled from the field, shooting 7-of-19, while Scoot Henderson (13/4/1 with three 3-pointers) came off the bench and shot 5-of-10. Whether or not Henderson replaces Brogdon in the starting five soon remains to be seen, but the veteran guard will provide solid fantasy value either way.
