Chicago Bulls waived Torrey Craig and Chris Duarte.
This was to be expected. Chicago waived Craig and Duarte to make room on its roster for Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter and Zach Collins after the trade headlined by De’Aaron Fox and Zach LaVine became official. Craig is likely to draw interest from a contending team in need of wing depth.

VJ Edgecombe finished Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks with 14 points (6-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot.
    Fantasy implications of Hornets-Pistons brawl
Eric Samulski breaks down the suspensions handed out to Pistons and Hornets players following their brawl on Monday night and what it means for fantasy owners looking to pick up players who might be filling those holes.
  • PHI Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey tallied 32 points (9-of-21 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks.
  • CHA Forward #24
Brandon Miller led the Hornets with 31 points (10-of-26 FGs), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, five three-pointers and five turnovers in a 110-107 win over the Hawks on Wednesday.
Miller didn’t have his most efficient performance, but it was enough to get the win. It was also his highest-scoring game since December and just his fourth 30-point game of the season. With Miles Bridges set to be suspended for three more games, Miller should continue to take on a few extra shots per game, which could lead to more big performances after the All-Star break.
  • NYK Guard #5
Jose Alvarado accounted for 26 points (8-of-13 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, five steals and eight three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the 76ers.
  • NYK Center-Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns amassed 21 points (8-of-13 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the 76ers.
  • NYK Guard-Forward #25
Mikal Bridges finished Wednesday’s win over the 76ers with 22 points (9-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, two steals and one three-pointer.
  • NOP Forward #25
Trey Murphy (shoulder) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
Murphy’s early exit with right shoulder soreness is concerning. His 2024-25 season ended early due to a torn labrum in his right shoulder, and now he’s dealing with an issue in the same area. Alarms shouldn’t be raised yet, but this is a situation worth monitoring, especially in a lost season for New Orleans. Jeremiah Fears should return to the starting unit if Murphy misses more than just the end of this game.
  • DAL Forward #32
Cooper Flagg (foot) has been ruled out against the Lakers on Thursday.
Flagg will miss the Mavericks’ final game before the All-Star break and will remain out for the Rising Stars game. Flagg may not end up missing much time, which is a good thing for fantasy managers. However, he won’t be available for his first All-Star weekend.
  • CHI Forward #14
Matas Buzelis accounted for 15 points (6-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics.
  • CHI Guard #7
Rob Dillingham finished Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics with 16 points (6-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), one rebound, seven assists and three steals.
