Brandon Williams (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in one week.
Williams is one of the Mavericks already dealing with injuries despite the team opening training camp on Tuesday. He suffered a hamstring strain during the first day of practice and will miss at least one week. With Kyrie Irving (knee) and Dante Exum (undisclosed) unavailable, there may have been an opportunity for Williams to earn early-season rotation minutes. Unfortunately, the hamstring injury will keep him on the sideline for at least one week.

Lauri Markkanen (conditioning) is available for Tuesday’s matchup with the Clippers.
Markkanen will unsurprisingly return to the court on Tuesday, which will limit the upside of Brice Sensabaugh and likely eliminate all of Svi Mykhailiuk’s streaming appeal.
Mitchell a 'locked in' top 10 player in fantasy
Eric Samulski breaks down Donovan Mitchell's standout season so far in which he's accumulated five 40-point games over one of the most successful stretches of his career.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić (illness) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Clippers, and Kevin Love (knee) is available.
Nurkić will get the night off after playing through his questionable tag on Saturday, and he should be replaced in the starting lineup by Love, who has been upgraded to available. Kyle Filipowski should enjoy additional run, too.
  • POR Forward #8
Deni Avdija (back) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Wizards.
Avdija has missed three straight games, but he’s got a chance to return against Washington. If Avdija is ultimately sidelined, Sidy Cissoko, Jerami Grant and Rayan Rupert should pick up the slack using a committee approach.
  • BKN Guard #24
Cam Thomas (ankle) is available for Tuesday’s matchup with the Suns.
Thomas sat out Sunday, but he’s good to go following a one-game absence. Expect him to handle his usual workload off the bench when he faces Phoenix.
  • SAC Guard #0
Malik Monk (ankle) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with New York.
Monk was forced to leave Sunday’s loss to the Pistons early with right ankle soreness, and it will cost him at least one game. Keon Ellis could be the next man up in Sacramento’s rotation to grab Monk’s vacated minutes.
  • SAC Guard #8
Zach LaVine (back) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Knicks.
LaVine sat out Sunday against the Kings, which allowed Nique Clifford to enter the starting lineup. Clifford logged a productive 15/3/1 line with a block and two triples across 33 minutes, making him a worthwhile addition in deeper fantasy leagues.
  • PHI Guard #5
Quentin Grimes (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Bucks.
Grimes is a late addition to the injury report with a right ankle sprain, which doesn’t bode well for his availability. The severity of the injury is unknown, but it’s possible Philadelphia is taking a cautious approach on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Justin Edwards and Eric Gordon may see a few extra minutes if Grimes sits out, but neither are appealing fantasy streaming options.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Bucks.
Embiid sat out the first leg of the Sixers’ back-to-back set, but he’s got a chance to take the court on Tuesday. If Embiid is ultimately ruled out, Andre Drummond should remain in the starting lineup, with Adem Bona earning additional run off the bench.
  • PHI Forward #8
Paul George (knee) is probable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Bucks.
George sat out Monday due to left knee injury management, but he’s expected to play on the second night of Philadelphia’s back-to-back set. George’s return should push Dominick Barlow back to the bench, but fantasy managers shouldn’t have been rostering Barlow. Kelly Oubre Jr. should still retain his fantasy value regardless of George’s availability.
  • POR Center-Forward #35
Robert Williams III (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Wizards.
Williams III played through a questionable tag on Monday, but it’s unclear if he’ll do the same on the second leg of Portland’s back-to-back set. With Duop Reath (foot) already sidelined, Portland could turn to Yang Hansen for backup center minutes behind Donovan Clingan.
