Jordan Poole amassed 16 points (5-of-16 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), one rebound, six assists and four three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Trail Blazers.
With New Orleans missing Trey Murphy and Herb Jones, Poole made his fifth start of the season and first since November 4 on Friday. Eleven of the guard’s 16 shot attempts came from beyond the arc, and Poole led the Pelicans in assists. Despite barely hanging onto a top-150 spot in eight-cat formats, Poole is rostered in 85 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Simply put, many of those managers are rooting for him to take on a more prominent role, which may not be possible in New Orleans.
