  • ORL Forward #23

Tristan da Silva (back) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Sunday.
After missing Friday’s game against the 76ers, da Silva could be back in the lineup against New Orleans. With Jalen Suggs (knee) still out, da Silva should start if he’s available. If he remains out, Noah Penda will likely get another start after finishing with five points, seven rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 30 minutes.

Peyton Watson added 18 points (6-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in the win over the Mavericks on Wednesday.
Watson followed up his 31-point outburst on Tuesday with another strong scoring performance on the second game of a back-to-back. The versatile forward was limited to only 30 minutes on the evening, but still produced enough on the offensive end to finish as the Nuggets’ third-leading scorer. His pair of three-pointers on efficient shooting added to his fantasy basketball production, as well. Watson has enjoyed a nice stretch over the past few weeks and continues to have his best season as a professional.
Mavs' Marshall is one to watch with Davis out
With Anthony Davis sidelined by a fractured hand as he weighs his options, Eric Samulski expects Naji Marshall to thrive while filling in for the Mavs big man.
  • DEN Forward #32
Aaron Gordon amassed 22 points (8-of-12 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one block and three three-pointers in the win over the Mavericks on Wednesday.
Gordon provided fantasy managers with decent production on Wednesday, surpassing the 20-point mark on the evening while draining a trio of three-pointers. The veteran forward played only 29 minutes in the win but still finished as Denver’s second-leading scorer. Surely he is capable of greater performances, but Wednesday’s final line should serve as a nice floor on nights when the high production isn’t required.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray notched 33 points (13-of-24 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, five assists and two three-pointers in the win over the Mavericks on Wednesday.
On the second game of a back-to-back, Murray followed his 35-point performance with another 30-point outing. He shot efficiently overall from the floor before finishing with a game-high in points, and also stepped up as a facilitator to lead the Nuggets in assists. Murray has very quietly enjoyed a strong start to the calendar year, tallying at least 22 points and five assists in each of the five games he’s appeared in. He’s been a major reason why the Nuggets have remained successful in Nikola Jokic’s absence.
  • DAL Forward #16
Caleb Martin notched 15 points (7-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, three assists, three steals and one three-pointer in the loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Martin had his most productive game of the season on Wednesday, scoring in double figures for the first time. Most of his scoring came from inside the arc, while on defense, he used active hands to record a few steals. Martin could find more time on the floor, given the injury statuses of some of Dallas’ key frontcourt players. However, he’s not yet someone fantasy managers should consider as rosterable.
  • DAL Forward #13
Naji Marshall finished Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets with 24 points (9-of-16 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), five rebounds and three assists.
Marshall was the go-to scorer for the Mavs on Wednesday, who were without Anthony Davis (hand) and lost Cooper Flagg in the first half to an ankle injury. The veteran forward couldn’t buy a basket from beyond the arc, but was efficient inside the three-point line and got to the charity stripe a good amount for his scoring production. Marshall has scored in double figures in 18 of his last 19 games and will likely be counted on moving forward to continue producing offensively.
  • DAL Guard #10
Brandon Williams totaled 20 points (6-of-13 FGs, 8-of-12 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in the loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Williams returned from a two-game absence and provided a spark off the Mavericks’ bench. He was one of two Dallas players to total 20 or more points, a number he had not reached since December. Williams has scored in double figures in six of his last seven games, however, and figures to remain one of the team’s go-to scorers off the bench. He’ll have a chance to log another productive performance on Thursday against the Jazz.
  • WAS Center #20
Alex Sarr was ejected from Wednesday’s game against the Clippers with 1:45 remaining in the second quarter.
Sarr picked up his second technical foul with less than two minutes remaining in the first half, prompting a premature end to his night. In 13 minutes, the second-year center accounted for four points, one rebound, one assist and two blocked shots. Marvin Bagley III and Tristan Vukčević will handle the center responsibilities during the second half.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (ankle) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Gafford played 18 minutes before exiting Wednesday’s game with a sprained right ankle. That’s the same ankle that caused two separate multi-game absences earlier this season. Dwight Powell’s playing time has increased, as Moussa Cissé is on assignment with the Mavericks’ G League affiliate. Gafford finished with six points and 10 rebounds.
  • UTA Center #22
Kyle Filipowski totaled 19 points (9-of-15 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one three-pointer in the loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.
Filipowski was one of four Jazz players to score in double figures on Wednesday, with his nine-point third quarter giving him nearly half of his scoring total, while his seven rebounds for the game tied a team-high. Filipowski has had an unspectacular sophomore season as a part-time starter. He’ll have a chance to build on Wednesday’s performance on Thursday against the Mavericks.
  • NYK Guard #11
Jalen Brunson (ankle) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
Brunson injured his right ankle during the first quarter and returned to the locker room after exiting the game. He has since been ruled out for the rest of the night, with Tyler Kolek starting the third quarter. With the Knicks visiting the Warriors on Thursday, fantasy managers should anticipate seeing a lot of Kolek and Miles McBride.
