CJ McCollum tallied 20 points (6-of-15 FGs, 7-of-11 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in the loss to the Trail Blazers on Thursday.
McCollum’s second game in a Hawks uniform played out similarly to his first. The veteran guard reached the 20-point mark for the second straight game but shot inefficiently from beyond the arc along the way, while making decent contributions as a facilitator. McCollum came off the bench, again, but still logged 29 minutes. It appears that his minutes won’t be as high as they were with Washington, but he’ll still have more than enough opportunities to put up strong fantasy production.
