Jimmy Butler III (personal) is out for Saturday’s game against the Hornets.
Butler was announced as a starter, but when the game began, he was in the Warriors’ locker room. Unfortunately, the veteran forward will not play on Saturday for personal reasons. Will Richard was a late insertion into the starting lineup.

Jalen Green (hamstring) will play against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Suns coach Jordan Ott said that he wanted to give Green an extra day of rest since he knew he wouldn’t play both legs of the back-to-back. Green will likely have his minutes limited, which means he could come off the bench in his first game back. However, he will suit up, which means Collin Gillespie is likely getting closer to heading back to the bench, while Grayson Allen and Jordan Goodwin will lose out on some minutes.
Thunder close out Cavs with 'exceptional' shooting
Noah Eagle and Grant Hill discuss the Thunder's ability to minimize Donovan Mitchell and their "exceptional" shooting to close out the Cavaliers on MLK Day.
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green (ankle) has been ruled out against the Heat on Monday.
Green was initially listed as probable, but he was downgraded to questionable earlier this evening. He has now been ruled out about four hours before tip-off. Gary Payton II and Al Horford should both help make up for Green’s absence, though neither holds much upside for fantasy managers.
  • DEN Guard #0
Christian Braun (ankle) has been ruled out against the Lakers on Tuesday.
This will be a sixth straight absence for Braun, and as of Friday, he was still limited to non-contact work. Braun could remain sidelined for a while longer, which means Peyton Watson and Spencer Jones should both remain in the starting unit for now.
  • WAS Guard #12
Tre Johnson recorded 15 points (6-of-12 FGs), one rebound, five assists and three three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Clippers.
  • WAS Guard #7
Bub Carrington finished Monday’s loss to the Clippers with 17 points (7-of-12 FGs), six rebounds, seven assists, one block and three three-pointers.
  • WAS Forward #18
Kyshawn George amassed 18 points (6-of-16 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, six assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Clippers.
  • DEN Guard-Forward #10
Tim Hardaway Jr. (knee) is probable to play against the Lakers on Friday.
THJ is managing a knee contusion, but it isn’t expected to keep him out of the lineup. He remains a streaky option for fantasy managers; he only had six points in 13 minutes on Sunday after scoring 30 points on Saturday. He should occupy his typical role off the bench against Los Angeles.
  • WAS Center #20
Alex Sarr recorded 28 points (10-of-19 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Clippers.
Five days removed from getting ejected during the first quarter of a loss to the Clippers, Sarr hung around throughout Monday’s rematch. And he was excellent, recording a complete stat line on good percentages. Over the past month, Sarr has offered fourth-round value in 12-team formats, which aligns with his season-long value.
  • LAC Center #40
Ivica Zubac tallied 14 points (7-of-10 FGs), 12 rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in Monday’s win over the Wizards.
For the first time in two weeks, Zubac has recorded double-doubles in consecutive games. The Clippers’ center was responsible for five turnovers, but many post players struggle with that category. Since returning from a sprained ankle, Zubac has hit double digits in rebounds in five of the eight games he’s played. If he’s held out of Tuesday’s game against the Bulls, Brook Lopez (six points, four steals and one blocked shot) would be the next man up.
  • LAC Guard #22
Jordan Miller amassed 16 points (5-of-11 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, four steals and one blocked shot in Monday’s win over the Wizards.
The Clippers won’t have Kawhi Leonard for the end of their road trip, opening up additional opportunities for the team’s supporting cast. While Kobe Sanders (8/3/1 with two three-pointers) made the start, Miller was more productive off the bench. Given how the playing time is being handled, it isn’t easy to fully trust Sanders or Miller as streaming options. However, both have shown at various points this season that they’re capable contributors.
