Kasparas Jakučionis posted a full line on Thursday with 18 points (6-of-12 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and five three-pointers against the Bucks.
Jakučionis started a second straight game with Tyler Herro (quad) sidelined, and this outing was far more productive than the first. He set a new career high for rebounds and had one of his most effective scoring nights of the season. Jakučionis clearly has plenty of talent and is only 19 years old, making him a valuable asset in dynasty leagues. However, his lack of consistent minutes makes him a difficult player to roster in standard leagues.

Aaron Gordon (calf) is now questionable for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
The Nuggets’ clean injury report picked up a blemish, as Gordon is now questionable due to tightness in his left calf. Given the lower-body injuries he has dealt with this season, it’s possible that the Nuggets forward does not play. If Gordon sits, Peyton Watson and Spencer Jones are potential replacements in the starting lineup.
Weighing pros and cons of NBA league expansion
Maria Taylor, Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, and Tracy McGrady share their perspectives on potential league expansion, breaking down the opportunity it creates while questioning if there is enough talent to go around.
  • IND Center #11
Micah Potter had 21 points (7-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds and five three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Heat.
Potter is averaging 8.9 points per game this year and typically plays 20 minutes or less per game. The 27-year-old center isn’t afraid to shoot threes, though, when he has the opportunity. Sunday was one of those games and he had his second game with at least 20 points in the last four weeks. Potter will continue in a depth role, which takes him off the fantasy radar.
  • IND Guard-Forward #2
Andrew Nembhard had 15 points (6-of-12 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, 10 assists and two three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Heat.
Nembhard has now had at least 10 assists in four consecutive games, a stretch that includes a career-high 19-assist game against the Lakers. The 26-year-old has an impressive 53/8 assist/turnover ratio over his last four games. The Pacers have three games upcoming in Week 23, starting with a matchup against the Bulls on Wednesday.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam had 30 points (11-of-24 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal and three three-pointers in the Pacers’ 135-118 victory over the Heat on Sunday.
Siakam was ejected from Wednesday’s loss to the Lakers and had only 11 points in Friday’s loss to the Clippers, but bounced back with a big game in the win over the Heat on Sunday. The 31-year-old power forward dropped 30 points with 11 rebounds and six assists. The Pacers have three games coming up in the week ahead, starting with a road matchup against the Bulls on Wednesday.
  • MEM Guard #4
Walter Clayton Jr. (ankle) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Suns.
Clayton came off the bench in Saturday’s win over the Bulls, but he played 30 minutes due to starter Javon Small (back) being limited to 15. With Small listed as doubtful, Clayton could move into the starting lineup if available. If the rookie can’t go, Cam Spencer may move into the starting five.
  • UTA Guard #8
Isaiah Collier (hamstring) is out for Monday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Monday’s game will be the seventh Collier has missed due to a hamstring injury. The Jazz will continue to count on EJ Harkless, who played 27 minutes as the starting point guard in Saturday’s loss to the Suns. Bez Mbeng will provide depth off the bench.
  • MEM Guard #10
Javon Small (back) is doubtful for Monday’s game against the Suns.
Small, who has started the Grizzlies’ last three games, was limited to 15 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Bulls. Cam Spencer is off the injury report and would figure prominently in the rotation if Small sits. Walter Clayton Jr., who is questionable, would be another option at the point if available.
  • Olivier-Maxence Prosper (wrist) and Taj Gibson (foot) are doubtful for Monday’s game against the Suns.
Prosper’s availability is far more consequential for fantasy managers, as he has been a consistent presence in the Grizzlies’ starting lineup. Taylor Hendricks is off the injury report for Monday’s game, and he can slide into the spot in the starting lineup that’s usually occupied by Prosper. As for Gibson, his absence would not affect fantasy basketball or the Grizzlies’ rotation.
  • MEM Guard-Forward #2
Ty Jerome (ankle) and Jaylen Wells (toe) are out for Monday’s game against the Suns.
The biggest beneficiaries with Jerome and Wells out have been Javon Small and Cedric Coward, with the latter enjoying one of his best games of the season in Saturday’s win over the Bulls. With Small considered doubtful with a back injury, a lot of the Grizzlies’ offense will run through Coward and Cam Spencer.
  • PHX Guard-Forward #3
Dillon Brooks (hand) is out for Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.
As of Friday, Brooks had not been cleared to resume 5-on-5 work, so his being ruled out for Monday is unsurprising. Royce O’Neale will remain in the starting lineup until that changes.
