Jalen Brunson accounted for 26 points (10-of-23 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, 13 assists and one steal in Thursday’s loss to the Hornets.
Brunson was one of the few Knicks to play well in Charlotte, and even he had some issues. The Knicks’ point guard was 0-of-6 from beyond the arc, the second time in the last six games that Brunson has failed to make a three-pointer. The overall field-goal percentage was respectable, and the 13 assists were the most in a game for Brunson since he recorded 15 in a March 6 win over the Nuggets. The Knicks will look to bounce back on Sunday when they visit the Thunder.

Mark Williams (foot) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Magic.
Williams’ stint on the sidelines will continue into Week 23, and that means Oso Ighodaro should continue to start in his place. Ighodaro has been productive running with the first unit, and fantasy managers should continue to deploy him with confidence.
What Edwards' return means for Wolves, fantasy
Following Anthony Edwards' return, Eric Samulski analyzes what fantasy managers should expect from the Timberwolves' star and several other pieces.
  • PHX Guard #8
Grayson Allen (knee) is off the injury report for Tuesday’s matchup with the Magic.
Allen got Monday off for injury management, but he’ll return for the second leg of Phoenix’s back-to-back set. Allen’s return will likely cut into Collin Gillespie’s minutes and usage.
  • DAL Guard #31
Klay Thompson (rest) is doubtful for Tuesday’s matchup with Milwaukee.
The Mavs are playing the second leg of a back-to-back set, so the vet is unlikely to take the court. With P.J. Washington and Naji Marshall still out due to illness, Khris Middleton could get a major boost in playing time.
  • DAL Forward #35
Marvin Bagley III (shoulder) and Caleb Martin (foot) are out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Bucks.
With Daniel Gafford back in action, Dwight Powell should operate as the backup center, but his fantasy appeal is minimal. Dallas’ forward rotation will be thin, so Khris Middleton and Brandon Williams should pick up some additional minutes with Martin sidelined.
  • DET Guard #8
Caris LeVert (knee) and Marcuss Sasser (hip) are questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Raptors.
Detroit’s injury report is lengthy for the second leg of a back-to-back set. If LeVert and Sasser sit out, more work could be available for Daniss Jenkins and Kevin Huerter.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (knee) is probable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Raptors, and Isaiah Stewart (calf) is out.
Duren is expected to return following a one-game absence, and he should push Paul Reed back to the bench. Reed was productive in Monday’s spot start, but he should still see meaningful rotation minutes with Stewart still out of action.
  • DET Forward #12
Tobias Harris (hip) and Duncan Robinson (hip) are probable for Tuesday’s tilt with Toronto.
Harris and Robinson were among the many Pistons players who sat out Monday’s loss to the Thunder, but the pair is expected to return for the second leg of Detroit’s back-to-back set. Ron Holland II and Kevin Huerter could see their minutes reduced as a result.
  • DAL Forward #25
P.J. Washington (illness) and Naji Marshall (illness) are out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Bucks.
Washington and Marshall sat out Monday against Minnesota, and they’ll both miss the second leg of the team’s back-to-back set. Khris Middleton, Klay Thompson and Brandon Williams should see additional run with Washington and Marshall sidelined.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #9
RJ Barrett (shoulder) is available for Tuesday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Barrett will shake off a probable tag and play through a shoulder injury, just as he did Sunday when he dropped 24 points. Fantasy managers should expect him to see a normal workload with the potential for additional scoring and playmaking responsibilities with Immanuel Quickley out and Brandon Ingram questionable.
  • DET Forward #7
Paul Reed added 21 points (7-of-13 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal, four blocks and one three-pointer in Monday’s loss to the Thunder.
Reed’s production was well distributed on Monday. He shot the ball well to finish as one of Detroit’s leading scorers and was the only one to reach the 20-point mark. He also led the team in blocked shots, hit a three-pointer, and attacked the glass hard to secure a double-double. Despite coming in a loss, Reed was productive on Monday and has fared well as a starter this season. Should he remain in the starting unit going forward, he may be able to help fantasy managers during the final week of the fantasy season.
