Jokić finished Friday’s overtime defeat with his third double-double in six games and 22nd of the season. He didn’t have the best night shooting the basketball, making two of his ten three-point attempts, but fantasy managers will live with that thanks to The Joker’s points, rebounds and assists. Jokić and the Nuggets have one more game in Week 18, as they host the Timberwolves on Sunday.
Jamal Murray

DEN Guard #27

Jamal Murray tallied 39 points (12-of-26 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and seven three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Thunder.

Back in the lineup after an illness forced his early exit from Wednesday’s win over the Celtics, Murray still didn’t look his best physically on Friday. However, he still put up 39 points, the most in a game for the Nuggets’ guard since he hit that number in a February 4 loss to the Knicks. And the schedule won’t get any easier, as Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves is the first of two in as many games for Murray and the Nuggets.
Chet Holmgren

OKC Center-Forward #7

Chet Holmgren tallied 15 points (5-of-8 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 21 rebounds, three assists, one steal, three blocks and one three-pointer in Friday’s win over the Nuggets.

With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander back in the Thunder lineup, Holmgren’s scoring opportunities took a hit on Friday. However, there’s more than one way to affect a game. Holmgren was outstanding on the glass, as he recorded his first 20-rebound game, while also blocking three shots. The lone concern for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks is that Oklahoma City gets up big early, as that would likely mean fewer minutes for Holmgren and the other starters.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

OKC Guard #2

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished Friday’s win over the Nuggets with 36 points (12-of-29 FGs, 12-of-13 FTs), three rebounds, nine assists, two steals and two blocks.

While Gilgeous-Alexander was not under a specific minutes limit, he logged 34 minutes on Friday and was not on the court for overtime. While the field-goal percentage wasn’t on par with what many fantasy managers expect from the reigning MVP, he still produced a robust stat line. And there may be an opportunity to shave off a few minutes from Gilgeous-Alexander’s workload, as the Thunder end Week 18 on Sunday against the lottery-bound Mavericks.
Luguentz Dort

OKC Guard #5

Luguentz Dort was ejected from Friday’s game against the Nuggets with 8:03 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Dort was tossed after a hip check of Denver’s Nikola Jokić in the backcourt knocked the center to the floor and sparked an altercation. Dort played 28 minutes, finishing with eight points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two three-pointers, shooting 3-of-7 from the field.
Cam Spencer

MEM Guard #24

Cam Spencer finished Friday’s win over the Mavericks with 25 points (9-of-16 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, one steal and four three-pointers.

While he wasn’t the choice to step into the Grizzlies’ starting lineup for the injured Ty Jerome (thigh), that did not keep Spencer from having one of the best games of his NBA career. The second-year guard’s 25 points were two shy of his career-high, and he shot 4-of-9 from beyond the arc. While Javon Small (7/4/5/2 with one three-pointer in 25 minutes) has been the subject of increased discussion within fantasy basketball due to his move into the starting lineup, don’t overlook Spencer. The Grizzlies visit the Pacers on Sunday in their final game of Week 18.
Evan Mobley

CLE Center #4

Evan Mobley accumulated 23 points (9-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 12 rebounds, one assist, four blocks and four three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Pistons.

Back in the lineup after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Bucks, Mobley played 37 minutes in Friday’s overtime defeat. That’s the most he has played in a game since returning from the strained calf, and the talented forward/center did not experience any issues. That bodes well for Mobley and those who have him rostered, as he will continue to shoulder more responsibility as long as James Harden (thumb) and Donovan Mitchell (groin) remain out.
Jalen Duren

DET Center #0

Jalen Duren accounted for 33 points (11-of-19 FGs, 11-of-15 FTs), 16 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three blocks in Friday’s win over the Cavaliers.

Having earned his first All-Star Game selection this season, Duren has been outstanding for the team with the NBA’s best record. He extended his double-double streak to four games in Friday’s overtime victory, with the 33 points matching Duren’s season-high. The Pistons end Week 18 with a road game against the Magic on Sunday.
Cade Cunningham

DET Guard #2

Cade Cunningham finished Friday’s win over the Cavaliers with 25 points (11-of-21 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

Unfortunately for Cunningham and the Pistons, the MVP candidate was not around for the conclusion of Friday’s game. With the Pistons trailing by four with 1:56 remaining, he was whistled for his sixth foul, his third disqualification of the season. However, Cade’s exit did not spell doom for the Pistons. Daniss Jenkins hit three free throws with 4.7 seconds remaining to force overtime, and Detroit would win it in the extra session. Cunningham finished three assists shy of a triple-double, another stellar stat line for the Pistons’ point guard. Detroit will look to end Week 18 on a high note when they visit the Magic on Sunday.
Jalen Brunson

NYK Guard #11

Jalen Brunson finished Friday’s win over the Knicks with 27 points (11-of-17 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists and four three-pointers.

Brunson and the Knicks jumped the Bucks early on Friday. He scored 22 of the Knicks’ 38 first-quarter points, and New York would score 39 more in the second. Due to the game being a blowout, Brunson only needed to play 31 minutes in Milwaukee. That extra rest could come in handy on Sunday, as the Knicks host the Spurs in their final game of Week 18.
