NOTES
Game 6 in Atlanta is looking like another one without Giannis Antetokounmpo or Trae Young, both of whom are listed as game time decisions. Milwaukee was able to take the advantage Thursday night, winning Game 5 at home by a margin of 11 points, but Vegas has the Hawks minus-2 for tonight. My assumption in writing this is that both Antetokounmpo and Young are out tonight, but that vital news likely won’t be out until much closer to game time. Make sure to interrupt your holiday weekend plans to check the starting lineups before the 8:30 ET tip off.
TOP PLAYS
Khris Middleton – F – MIL
Middleton has to be considered the top play tonight coming off a complete 60-plus fantasy point game, his second in the last three. Pretty much everyone available tonight has had their ups and downs in this series, which is why I keep coming back to the idea of identifying your top player, then hedging the top multiplier spot with other possibilities. Start with Middleton, and evolve your multi-entry lineups from there.
Jrue Holiday – G – MIL
Holiday is also coming off a good game, marking his third double-double in this series. Both Holiday and Middleton are must-plays tonight given their every-category production leading to unbeatable floor fantasy points. With upside well above 50 fantasy points, Holiday should be considered for the second multiplier on FanDuel and Yahoo (and hedged for Middleton on DraftKings, where he is substantially cheaper too).
Bogdan Bogdanovic – G – ATL
Bogdanovic is also on the injury report, but listed as probable as he continues to play through some knee soreness. With Young sidelined, Bogdanovic has risen to the occasion, combining for 48 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals over the last two games. The Hawks desperately need his offense to stay alive in the East, so while I’m less confident that Bogdanovic will be more valuable to your lineups than the Bucks above, his lower salary and opportunity to shine should at least get him into the third multiplier slot (though see alternatives below).
NOTABLE BARGAINS
Bobby Portis – F/C – MIL was seen coming from miles away Thursday night as he started for Antetokounmpo and recorded 40-plus fantasy points. His salary hasn’t come up too much ($6200 DK, $9000 FD, $17 Yahoo) but his production about doubled in the higher usage role. We saw him do this during the regular season as well, so I believe this level of production in this matchup is sustainable as long as Giannis is out.
Lou Williams – SG – ATL was finally unleashed, playing 35 MPG in the last two games without Young. His production was similar in both games – nearly 20 real points per game with a handful of assists and rebounds, but six turnovers in Game 5 hurt his final line. He’s a lot cheaper than Bogdanovic with overlapping ranges. Salary will be your guide when it comes to the value plays; for example, Portis is $2000 less than Williams on FanDuel, making Portis the no-brainer there.
Kevin Huerter and Cam Reddish – G – ATL are both reasonable ‘last spot’ guys for tonight’s game. As noted above, Vegas has the Hawks winning this home game, and both of these wing players have shown flashes of fantasy potential. Huerter is clearly the luxury option between the two, with a higher salary to go along with his 37 MPG and 33 fantasy points per game over the last three games, but Reddish has been efficient with his 23 MPG. In this series, Reddish has averaged about 10 points per game and in the last two (with Young out), has at least four rebounds, four assists, a block and two steals. For $3400 (DK) and $11 (Yahoo), he’s a real steal, but paying $10,000 for Reddish instead of Portis on FanDuel is a risky move.

OTHER NOTES
John Collins – F – ATL continues to post stats that are all over the place. He’s coming off a better game sans Antetokounmpo, and his salary is fair for his range of outcomes. If you can afford him easily, I don’t hate the play, but I’m not looking to force him in.
Brook Lopez – C – MIL was electric for the Bucks in the Game 5 win, scoring 33 points with four blocks. He nearly exceeded his production from the first four games combined. That kind of fantasy outcome is going to raise his rostership tonight as people scramble to chase points. I think Lopez will have a fine game, probably in the 25-35 fantasy point range, so consider his salary carefully. I think he’s in the right range on DraftKings ($7200), but on Yahoo, Bogdanovic is only $1 more than Lopez – I’m going Bogdanovic there. On FanDuel, Lopez is sandwiched between Reddish and Williams, cheaper than every Atlanta starter, making him an appealing bargain option there.
