Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) able to do everything

Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) said during an appearance on Saturday that he is “able to do everything.”

Haliburton, who ruptured his Achilles tendon during Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals, did not play at all last season. In addition to recovering from that injury, he had to deal with a case of shingles in February. The good news for the Pacers is that their star point guard is back to full strength and should be good to go for the start of next season. “I feel like I’m operating like I’m a healthy NBA player for the first time in a long time, which is exciting,” Haliburton said on Saturday. “The fact that I’m able to come here without having to answer questions from anybody in our organization about my health, that I’m just able to jump in and do some things with the kids, that means the world to me. It’s something I don’t take for granted after the last 12 months.” While he may need some time to shake off the rust, a healthy Haliburton is one of the most valuable players in fantasy basketball.

Chet Holmgren (knee) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.

Unfortunately, Holmgren sitting out Monday’s win over the Suns wasn’t solely because it was Oklahoma City’s second game in as many nights. Kenrich Williams moved into the starting lineup and played 24 minutes against Phoenix; he should fill a similar role on Wednesday.

Alex Caruso (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.

Caruso sprained his right ankle during Monday’s win over the Suns and did not return. Oklahoma City’s depth has taken significant hits over the last 48 hours, and Caruso’s absence likely means that two-way contract rookie Josh Dix will once again play rotation minutes. He played 25 minutes on Monday and scored seven points.

Patrick Williams (groin) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.

Williams, who was a DNP-CD in Chicago’s first two games, missed the last two because of a strained right adductor. His status doesn’t affect fantasy basketball, as the former lottery pick hasn’t been in Tiago’s Splitter’s rotation when healthy.

Tobe Awaka (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.

Awaka, who played 12 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Celtics, is dealing with a sprained left ankle. The rookie’s potential absence wouldn’t affect fantasy basketball, but it could give Zach Collins a few more minutes.

Andrew Nembhard (neck) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.

Because of a sore neck, Nembhard did not play in Monday’s loss to the Bucks. Kelly Oubre Jr. replaced him in the starting lineup and should retain that role if Nembhard can’t play against the 76ers.

Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.

Haliburton’s left hamstring appeared to be giving him trouble during the second half of Monday’s loss to the Bucks, and he’s now on the injury report due to left hamstring tightness. Who would benefit if he sits depends on Andrew Nembhard’s availability (neck), as he is also questionable. Quenton Jackson’s role in the rotation would become more important if Haliburton can’t play.

Obi Toppin (hand) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.

Toppin is dealing with a sprained left hand, but he is a right-handed shooter. He should be able to play Wednesday, and his fantasy ceiling has recently risen because of Ivica Zubac’s sprained ankle. With Zubac already ruled out for Wednesday, Toppin is worth adding in deeper leagues.

Aaron Nesmith (hamstring) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.

Nesmith has started Indiana’s last two games, coming off the bench in his season debut on Friday. With the probable tag, he should be able to fill his usual role as the starting small forward on Wednesday.

Aaron Wiggins (knee) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.

Wiggins, who has averaged 15.8 points per game through four appearances, is dealing with a left knee contusion. If he can’t play on Wednesday, Corey Kispert could slide into the back end of the Hawks’ rotation.

Jabari Walker (knee) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.

Walker will miss a second consecutive game after leaving Saturday’s win over the Bucks in the third quarter. While his absence may give Adem Bona a few more minutes, Joel Embiid will be available after sitting out Sunday’s loss to the Pistons.
