ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Suns and Luke Kennard have agreed to a two-year, $13 million contract.

Kennard appeared in 78 regular-season games in 2025-26, playing 46 for the Hawks before being traded to the Lakers at the February deadline. In 21.6 minutes per game, he averaged 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 three-pointers while shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 91.3 percent from the foul line. In Kennard, the Suns add one of the most accurate three-point shooters in the NBA, potentially providing valuable spacing playing off of Devin Booker and Jalen Green. The second year of Kennard’s contract is a player option, and he’ll be most valuable to fantasy managers seeking three-point production.

LeBron James accounted for 10 points (1-of-1 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), four rebounds, five assists and one steal in Thursday’s exhibition against the Nets.

After sitting out the 76ers’ preseason opener on Monday, James made his unofficial debut for the team on Thursday. Though he had only one official field-goal attempt, the 41-year-old forward made 8-of-8 from the foul line. LeBron took on primary playmaking duties against the Nets, and the team will ask him to do the same during the regular season. He may also serve as a small-ball center at times because Philadelphia lacks depth behind Joel Embiid.

Moritz Wagner finished Thursday’s exhibition against the 76ers with six points (2-of-3 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one assist and four steals.

The Nets didn’t have Day’Ron Sharpe for Thursday’s exhibition, so Wagner moved into the starting lineup after coming off the bench on Tuesday. The veteran forward/center logged 18 minutes, though foul trouble limited his time on the floor. A healthy Sharpe makes Wagner a non-factor in most fantasy leagues, but he’s likely to be worth streaming at times.

Julius Randle notched 14 points (4-of-11 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, two assists and two steals in Thursday’s exhibition against the 76ers.

After putting up 13 points in Tuesday’s rout of the Hornets, Randle put on a decent showing for the home folks in his first home game as a Net. The move to Brooklyn put the veteran forward on a team unlikely to contend, but it’s a good spot for him to get his numbers. The concern for scorers like Randle in situations like this is that efficiency could suffer. Hopefully, that won’t be the case for him.

Egor Dëmin tallied 13 points (5-of-13 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), one rebound, five assists and one three-pointer in Thursday’s exhibition against the 76ers.

Dëmin said during the offseason that he hopes to have the ball in his hands more this season, and he’s started at point guard in both of Brooklyn’s preseason games. Through two games, the second-year guard has totaled 10 assists and three turnovers. Adding Julius Randle (14 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals) to the rotation should help Dëmin as a playmaker and raise his fantasy ceiling. His ADP of 118 makes sense, but don’t be surprised if it creeps up some between now and the start of the regular season.

Andre Drummond produced eight points (2-of-6 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists and two steals in Thursday’s exhibition against the Wizards.

Drummond’s ability to hit the boards was the main reason why the Knicks signed him to fill the void left by Mitchell Robinson. Five of Drummond’s nine rebounds on Thursday came on the offensive end of the floor. He may not be the rim protector that Robinson was, but Drummond will be an important member of the Knicks’ bench unit.

Josh Hart tallied 13 points (5-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Thursday’s exhibition against the Wizards.

After a relatively quiet night in the Knicks’ preseason opener on Monday, Hart recorded a complete stat line on Thursday. With an ADP just inside the top-100, Hart is once again positioned to be a fantasy steal, especially in category leagues. He may not be the “sexiest” option for managers seeking significant upside, but one could do a lot worse than selecting Hart in drafts.

AJ Dybantsa amassed 11 points (5-of-11 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, two assists and four steals in Thursday’s exhibition against the Knicks.

Dybantsa made his preseason NBA debut on Thursday as a starter for the Wizards. Khris Middleton didn’t play against the Knicks, but it’s hard to imagine a scenario where the Wizards’ first overall pick from this past summer won’t start on Opening Night. Dybantsa’s athleticism and offensive tools make him an enticing prospect, and his four steals on Thursday shouldn’t be overlooked. He won’t do that consistently, but pressuring passing lanes is another of Dybantsa’s strengths.

Deandre Ayton tallied four points (2-of-2 FGs), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal in Thursday’s exhibition against the Knicks.

With Alex Sarr still not fully recovered from offseason foot surgery, Ayton started at center on Thursday. While he didn’t add much offensively, the 7-footer grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds in 17 minutes. A healthy Sarr will relegate Ayton to the bench when the time comes, but the veteran makes for a decent insurance policy worth considering in the latter rounds of fantasy drafts.

Trae Young accounted for 15 points (4-of-7 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), four assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Thursday’s exhibition against the Knicks.

Young looked sharp in his first appearance this preseason, shooting over 50 percent from the field and committing just two turnovers in 17 minutes. Even with the turnover concerns, Young should be highly valuable to fantasy managers in any league format. For those punting turnovers, he’s likely to go in the second round of drafts at worst.

Anthony Davis finished Thursday’s exhibition against the Knicks with 16 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two three-pointers.

Davis made his Wizards’ preseason debut on Thursday, playing 17 minutes against the Knicks. The veteran forward/center had a good night, with his final stat line lacking only a steal. With reports earlier this week that the Wizards are highly unlikely to give Davis the max extension he wants, this will be a contract year for the veteran big man. With that in mind, he’ll have a lot to play for this season. If Davis stays healthy, that sets him up to be a fantasy steal given his third-round ADP.
