Austin Reaves (oblique) is questionable for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Rockets.
The Lakers can close out the Rockets on Sunday, and they may get back one of their key scorers. Reaves, who has been out since April 2 with a strained oblique, is closing in on a return. Given where the series stands, the Lakers can take a conservative approach to working Reaves back into the lineup once he’s available. Luke Kennard has been the starting off-guard, and that will remain the case until Reaves returns.

Mike Conley, Terrence Shannon Jr., Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert will start Monday’s Game 1 against the Spurs.
Anthony Edwards (knee) is available for Game 1, but he’s on a minutes restriction and will come off the bench. As a result, Shannon will get another start after coming up big in the Timberwolves’ series-clinching win over the Nuggets on Thursday.
Should the Nuggets look into trading Murray?
Kenny Beecham breaks down what the next few months could look like for the Denver Nuggets and how the team should potentially reorganize its roster during the offseason.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards (knee) is available for Monday’s Game 1 against the Spurs.
Edwards is officially good to go for Monday’s series opener, having missed two games after hyperextending his left knee during Game 4 of the Denver series. While the playing time could be limited, the Timberwolves will need production from Edwards regardless of his role in Game 1.
  • SAS Forward #11
Carter Bryant (foot) is out for Monday’s Game 1 against the Timberwolves.
Bryant sprained his right foot during practice, and the hope is that he won’t be sidelined for too long. His absence won’t have a significant effect on the Spurs’ rotation, as they’ve got enough depth to compensate for the rookie’s absence.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (hip) is available for Monday’s Game 1 against the Knicks.
Embiid is good to go after initially being listed as probable on the injury report. The 76ers will stick with their preferred starting lineup, with Embiid being joined by Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr.
  • NYK Forward #20
Jeremy Sochan (hamstring) is available for Monday’s Game 1 against the 76ers.
Sochan is good to go after initially being listed as probable due to tightness in his left hamstring. He was not in the rotation for the Knicks’ first-round series against the Hawks, and that’s unlikely to change in Round 2.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (hamstring) is out for Tuesday’s Game 1 against the Thunder.
On April 29, it was reported that Dončić, who strained his left hamstring in an April 2 loss to the Thunder, had no return timeline. He’ll remain out at the start of the second-round series, with the hope that the Lakers will get Dončić back at some point. Marcus Smart and Rui Hachimura will continue to play significant minutes until Dončić can play.
  • DET Guard-Forward #27
Kevin Huerter (adductor) is questionable for Tuesday’s Game 1 against the Cavaliers.
Huerter missed the final three games of the Pistons’ first-round series against the Magic. His absence factored into Cade Cunningham’s playing time increasing, but Detroit was also looking to erase a 3-1 deficit. If Huerter can’t play on Tuesday, it’s possible that Daniss Jenkins and Javonte Green are asked to play more.
  • MIN Guard #13
Ayo Dosunmu (calf) is out for Monday’s Game 1 against the Spurs.
Dosunmu sat out the decisive Game 6 victory over Denver in the first round, and he’ll be out for at least one game of the second-round series with San Antonio. Minnesota is expected to get Anthony Edwards (knee) back, but Terrence Shannon Jr. should still see increased run with Dosunmu sidelined.
  • MIN Guard #5
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Anthony Edwards is expected to play in Monday’s Game 1 against the Spurs
Edwards has been medically cleared to play, and Shams notes that he will get “final sign-off” after going through his pregame routine. An earlier update was optimistic that he would get back on the court, and barring an unforeseen setback, that is what will happen. The Wolves are heavy underdogs against the Spurs, but Edwards’ availability gives Minnesota a puncher’s chance.
  • MIN Guard #5
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Anthony Edwards was a significant participant in Monday’s shootaround, and he wants to return in Game 1 against the Spurs.
Shams notes that Minnesota’s medical staff will make a decision about Edwards’ availability closer to tip-off, but it sounds like the superstar is doing everything he can to get back on the court. If Edwards is sidelined again, Julius Randle and Jaden McDaniels would see increased scoring responsibilities, while Ayo Dosunmu (calf) could enjoy a boost in usage if available.
