Nick Boyd dishes out game-high 10 assists vs. SAC

Pullin is still on a two-way deal with Minnesota, but this was an impressive showing for the 25-year-old. He’s only appeared in eight NBA games, and he’ll likely spend most of next season in the G League, but there is clearly some talent here. If he continues to develop, he could become a rotation player in the near future.

Kaufman-Renn played 16 minutes in his first summer league game, which didn’t give him much time to contribute in the box score. The 59th pick in the draft last month should see his minutes increase as summer league continues.

Beringer is a raw prospect, but after starring in summer league last year, he was able to get off to a strong start this summer. He has some growing to do before he’s ready to be an every contributor for the Timberwolves, but they’re banking on that growth happening this year. He is certainly on track to be a fantasy star one day, and he’s still only 19 years old.

The lone pick from the Pelicans 2025 class that suited up for summer league, Peavy was one of the best players on the floor for New Orleans in this game. Peavy was an effective defender as a rookie, so seeing him produce on offense is encouraging, even if he has a long way to go to crack the Pelicans’ rotation this season.

Banton signed a two-year deal with Boston the day before the regular season ended up, but it wasn’t a fully guaranteed deal. This pushes the Celtics roster back down to 14 players.

Pierre only played 12 minutes off the bench, and he didn’t produce much. He should see his role increase as summer league continues as the Pelicans look to evaluate the 58th pick from last month.

Bufkin spent his first two seasons with the Hawks but was traded to the Nets ahead of last season. They waived him right before the season began, and he didn’t end up appearing in an NBA game until January, and he ended up signing with the Lakers for the rest of the season. Now, he’s trying to earn a new contract, and this performance should help make his case. He was quite the path to climb to get to the point where he is producing in NBA games, but he should be on pace to at least get a deal before the summer ends.

With Quinten Post heading for Memphis, Golden State has turned to Bassey to fill out some backup minutes down low. Bassey finished out last season on a 10-day deal with the Warriors and is now on track to start next year as a reserve option for them down low.

The two teams agreed to send Leonard back to Toronto for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick and draft compensation at the end of June, but that deal is now on hold pending the league’s investigation into the Clippers’ Aspiration scandal. ESPN’s Shams Charania said that the expectation is that the deal will still end up happening. While that remains to be seen, all parties involved will be better off as soon as the league finally wraps up this investigation.

It’s a two-year, non-guaranteed contract for Nance. The Bucks somewhat curiously waived the 26-year-old forward last week, but elected to bring him back now. While much remains in flux with the Bucks’ roster, Nance seems ticketed for a reserve role next season. He averaged 5.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game over 47 games (six starts) last season.
