Matas Buzelis accounted for 17 points (2-of-7 FGs, 13-of-16 FTs), six rebounds and two blocks in Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors.

As a team, the Bulls shot 31.8 percent from the field on Wednesday, so Buzelis wasn’t the only one to have an off night. The good news for fantasy managers was that he got to the foul line often, which boosted his point total. Toronto isn’t an easy matchup for wings, so the hope is that Buzelis will bounce back on Friday in Milwaukee.

CJ McCollum lit up the Rockets with 20 points (8-of-16 FGs), one rebound, three assists, three steals and four three-pointers on Monday.

McCollum has been a solid source of offense for the Hawks since they traded for him last season. So far this year, his production has been underwhelming, but this ended up being his best scoring performance of the season. He has been efficient as a scorer, but the lack of volume has prevented him from making much of an impact for fantasy managers. Still, as a starter, he’ll continue to produce standard-league value.

Jalen Johnson led the Hawks with 21 points (5-of-14 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer in a 120-110 loss to the Rockets on Monday.

It wasn’t as dominant of a performance as he put together against Houston on Saturday, but Johnson was still able to provide value across the board in the rematch. However, that didn’t change the result on the scoreboard. Johnson will continue to stuff the stat sheet for Atlanta, which has allowed him to be one of the best players in fantasy basketball so far this season despite a rough start shooting the ball.

Dillon Brooks finished Monday’s loss to the Thunder with 19 points (4-of-14 FGs, 8-of-12 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers.

Brooks didn’t have a good night shooting the basketball, making three of his ten three-point attempts and going 4-of-14 overall. The good news is that he recorded a complete stat line, which is welcome for a player whose fantasy value has underwhelmed so far. Brooks’ 2025-26 output factored into his preseason ADP, as he exceeded many fantasy managers’ expectations last season.

Isaiah Hartenstein accounted for 15 points (6-of-7 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 13 rebounds and three assists in Monday’s win over the Suns.

With Chet Holmgren (knee) sitting out Monday’s game, Hartenstein was the lone 7-footer in the Thunder starting lineup. He recorded his second double-double in as many nights, and iHart’s ability to play both games of Oklahoma City’s back-to-back is encouraging. He appeared in 47 games last season, and injuries also contributed to Hartenstein’s minutes dropping by more than three per game. He’s looked healthy so far, which is critical with the Thunder losing Jalen Williams (ankle/leg) for the season on Sunday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished Monday’s win over the Suns with 26 points (11-of-18 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one three-pointer.

In the aftermath of the injuries to Cason Wallace and Jalen Williams, some may have expected Gilgeous-Alexander to shoot until his arm fell off. That didn’t happen, as the reigning MVP got his points while also trusting his teammates. SGA recorded just three assists, but he shot the ball well and extended his 20-point streak to 143 games. Oklahoma City plays two more games in Week 2, starting with the Mavericks on Wednesday.

Jared McCain tallied 18 points (6-of-14 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Suns.

McCain was one of three replacements in the Thunder starting lineup on Monday. With Cason Wallace (shoulder) and Jalen Williams (ankle/leg) needing surgery, McCain has a good chance of staying a starter for the long haul. He shot 4-of-7 from beyond the arc against the Suns and recorded a complete stat line, playing 30 minutes. Like Ajay Mitchell, McCain is a must-add if he’s on the waiver wire.

Ajay Mitchell went off for 30 points (10-of-16 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, one block and one three-pointer in Monday’s win over the Suns.

With Cason Wallace (shoulder) and Jalen Williams (ankle/leg) out for the foreseeable future, the Thunder will need greater contributions from players like Mitchell to stay afloat in the West. The third-year guard started on Monday and delivered the best game of his NBA career to date. Mitchell finished with his first 30-point game and was a steal shy of a complete stat line. If Mitchell is still on your league’s waiver wire, add him immediately.
