Alex Sarr finished Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers with 18 points (7-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, four steals, one block and two three-pointers.

While Sarr entered Wednesday shooting 53.8 percent from the field, it’s taken a little time for him to find his footing offensively. Wednesday was a step in the right direction for the 7-footer, who finished with season highs in points and field-goal attempts. Add in the defensive contributions, and fantasy managers rostering Sarr should be pleased. He played 26 minutes against the Cavaliers, the second straight game that he’s done so.

Payton Pritchard accumulated 30 points (9-of-17 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Bulls.

Given his performance in Boston’s two comfortable wins over the Bulls this week, Pritchard clearly enjoys playing against them. After putting up 28 points on Monday, the Celtics guard came off the bench to record his first 30-point game of the season. Over five games, Pritchard has been inconsistent scoring-wise, alternating between double- and single-digit outputs. He’ll look to buck that trend when the Celtics face the Magic on Sunday.

Julius Randle had 15 points (4-of-13 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, three 3-pointers, and five turnovers in 110-94 loss to Pistons.

Randle will have these inefficient games while stuffing the stat sheet in other areas including the turnovers. It’s part of the deal when you have Randle. His role isn’t going anywhere and his next opportunity to bounce back will be on Sunday against the Pacers.

Jalen Smith tallied five points (2-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 12 rebounds, one assist and two blocked shots.

Smith had a rough night shooting the basketball, missing all five of his three-point attempts. Still, fantasy managers had something to work with, as the Bulls center hit double digits in rebounds for the third time in six games and blocked two shots. Even with Smith’s offensive struggles against the Celtics, he needs to be rostered, especially while the Bulls await Nic Claxton’s return from a strained hamstring.

Caleb Wilson accounted for 23 points (7-of-16 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and six three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Celtics.

Perimeter shooting was seen as a weakness of Wilson’s during the pre-draft process, and he entered Friday shooting 22.2 percent from beyond the arc. Against the Celtics, the rookie forward made six of his 11 attempts as part of a complete stat line. Wilson has been one of the most valuable rookies in fantasy basketball so far, and that shouldn’t change anytime soon.

Ausar Thompson had 11 points (5-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals on Friday.

Ausar has been awesome in category leagues if you need good out of position rebounds and assists. He’s been a more focal point of the offense with the Pistons this season and his role is safe on this team. We don’t need to worry about coach JB Bickerstaff taking away minutes from him anymore which should relieve fantasy managers.

Tre Jones finished Friday’s loss to the Celtics with 12 points (4-of-10 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block.

In his usual role backing up Josh Giddey (13/4/5 with two three-pointers), Jones played 20 minutes on Friday. That didn’t prevent him from providing solid category-league value, especially in steals. The four pilfers were one shy of his career-high, and the Bulls guard also managed to block a shot. Regardless of what Giddey does on any given night, Jones is worth rostering in deep leagues.

Duncan Robinson put up 17 points (5-of-11 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers in win on Friday.

Robinson has been on an absolute tear to start the season. He’s been the biggest beneficiary of Tobias Harris leaving the team in terms of scoring and he’s given fantasy owners a real boost in the 3-point category. If he’s available in your league, he’s worth grabbing in most redraft leagues, but understand that unless you need some 3’s or points, he doesn’t do much else.

Ron Holland in 22 minutes, got 18 points (6-of-10 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, four steals, a block, and two 3-pointers in 110-94 win over the Nets.

Ron Holland was a big reason that this game got so out of and in the second half. He hit his shots and he was aggressive with his defense. He got you four steals which would’ve been a massive boost in deeper leagues. We’ll see if he stays on this team long term, but tonight was one of the nights where you can see the fantasy profile if he ever gets a starting role.

Naz Reid scored 12 points (5-of-17 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, an assist, three steals, and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Naz Reid got the start after being benched in the second half of last game, but it looks to be a one game thing. While he didn’t fill up the box score, he still filled up the box score despite it, but it wasn’t a good performance from the Hornets as a whole. If you have Naz, be patient and don’t overreact. He won’t likely go shoot 29.4% from the field and 25% from three very often.

Moussa Diabaté scored 10 points (5-of-11 FGs), 12 rebounds, an assist, and two steals on Friday in loss.

Diabaté has been as expected this season. He has value in redraft leagues if you need some rebounding, but he hasn’t done much else besides that. From a dynasty perspective, Moussa could be someone that gets moved to a new team given the surplus of centers the Hornets have, and he should have some value given his current contract.
