Danny Green started at shooting guard again and scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 38 minutes on Thursday.
Green has two straight solid outings under his belt, but as we’ve seen all year the shooting guard position is subject to change. Owners making an add, even in deep league scenarios, are doing so at their own risk. Gary Neal played 17 minutes and hit just 1-of-7 shots for three points, three rebounds, and four assists, and Kawhi Leonard played just two minutes in the Spurs’ blowout win.

Julian Champagnie (knee) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Clippers.
Champagnie is dealing with right knee soreness that may keep him out for the second leg of San Antonio’s back-to-back set. If Champagnie is ultimately ruled out, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson could pick up some extra minutes.
Booker among best bets for NBA Friday
Numbers on the Board share their best bets for NBA Friday including Cooper Flagg, Amen Thompson, Donavan Clingan and Devin Booker.
  • SAS Forward #40
Harrison Barnes (ankle) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Clippers.
Barnes will surprisingly miss a third straight game which should lead to additional playing time for Carter Bryant, but San Antonio’s deep rotation limits Bryant’s fantasy ceiling.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (ankle) and Marvin Bagley III (neck) are doubtful for Friday’s matchup with the Celtics.
Bagley III is still working his way back from a neck strain, and he’s likely to miss a fifth straight contest. Gafford will get the night off for the second leg of Dallas’ back-to-back set, which isn’t too surprising. With both bigs expected to miss this one, expect Dwight Powell and P.J. Washington to see additional run.
  • NOP Guard #5
Dejounte Murray (Achilles) is off the injury report for Friday’s matchup with the Suns.
Murray sat out Thursday for the first leg of the Pelicans’ back-to-back set, but he’ll be back in action against Phoenix and should handle a normal workload. Jeremiah Fears’ fantasy appeal takes a hit as a result of Murray’s availability.
  • DAL Guard #10
Brandon Williams (quad) is probable for Friday’s matchup with the Celtics.
Williams sat out Thursday’s narrow loss to the Magic, but he’ll be back for the second leg of Dallas’ back-to-back set. He should handle his typical workload in the Mavs’ rotation.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (knee) is doubtful for Friday’s matchup with the Hornets.
Wiggins’ injury means Miami will be thin at forward with both Simone Fontecchio (groin) and Nikola Jović (back) sidelined. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Myron Gardner should be in line for additional run against Charlotte.
  • Bogdan Bogdanović (illness) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Spurs.
Bogdanović is a late addition to the injury report which doesn’t bode well for his chances of taking the court against San Antonio. His absence isn’t particularly notable for fantasy managers due to his lengthy absence and limited role in LA’s rotation.
  • PHI Forward-Guard #9
Sixers beat writer Adam Aaronson reports that Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) will play in Saturday’s matchup with the Hawks.
Oubre Jr. will be back in action following two games on the sideline, which should send Quentin Grimes back to the bench. Grimes’ production in his pair of spot starts was a bit underwhelming, so fantasy managers who streamed him won’t be heartbroken by this development.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
NBC’s Noah Levick reports that Joel Embiid (oblique) will be re-evaluated in one week.
Embiid has missed three straight games and eight of the 76ers’ last 10. Philly is just 2-6 across Embiid’s last eight absences, and the team will hope to get him back sooner rather than later. Until Embiid is back in action, Andre Drummond and Adem Bona should continue to soak up minutes in the frontcourt.
  • HOU Forward #10
Jabari Smith Jr. (ankle) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers.
Smith Jr. logged 42 minutes in Thursday’s OT loss to the Warriors, and the Rockets may give him the night off for the second leg of a back-to-back set as he continues to recover from a right ankle sprain. If JSJ is unable to go, Tari Eason and Josh Okogie could see additional run.
