  • Point Guard #55

Tim Quarterman is active for Thursday.
He’s had some moments in garbage time with one of the best put-back dunks on the year, but Quarterman is not expected to get minutes unless coach Terry Stotts gets really, really wild.
  • LAC Forward-Center #20

John Collins (head, neck) is out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Collins was injured during the second quarter of Friday’s loss to the Lakers, when a hard fall led to a laceration over his eye and a sore neck. Bennedict Mathurin moved into the lineup to begin the third quarter, and that could be his role for Sunday’s game as well. Mathurin is already rostered in most leagues, but 10-team league managers need to ensure that he isn’t sitting on the waiver wire.
HLs: Edwards torches Mavericks, scores 40 points
Anthony Edwards returned to Minnesota with his All-Star Game MVP award and scored 40 points to help the Timberwolves beat Dallas 122-111. Edwards, who has eight 40-point games this season, had 14 in the fourth quarter.
  • LAC Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Leonard’s left ankle stiffened up late in Friday’s loss to the Lakers, forcing the Clippers star to the sidelines. If he cannot play against the Magic, Bennedict Mathurin will take on added importance for the team offensively, likely being their featured option.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Murray was also questionable ahead of Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers with tightness in his right hamstring. He logged 25 minutes, with the playing time affected by Denver’s franchise-record 54-point win. With Jalen Pickett (knee) already ruled out, even more of the playmaking responsibilities may fall upon Nikola Jokić’s shoulders if Murray sits.
  • CHI Forward #28
Josh Giddey, Isaac Okoro, Matas Buzelis, Guerschon Yabusele and Jalen Smith will start Saturday’s game against the Pistons.
The Bulls are going with a bigger lineup as they face the team with the NBA’s best record. Yabusele will start after playing 17 minutes off the bench on Thursday, with Anfernee Simons moving to the bench.
  • MEM Forward #22
Walter Clayton Jr., Ty Jerome, Jaylen Wells, Jahmai Mashack and Taylor Hendricks will start Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Jerome and Clayton are available after sitting out Friday’s win over the Jazz, and both will start. The former may still be under a minutes restriction, but that won’t do much to limit Jerome’s value. GG Jackson will head to the bench, while Lawson Lovering is now a free agent after his 10-day contract expired. And with Kyle Anderson out, Hendricks moves into the starting lineup.
  • Kasparas Jakučionis, Norman Powell, Andrew Wiggins, Pelle Larsson and Bam Adebayo will start Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies.
The Heat won’t have Davion Mitchell (illness) for Saturday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. He’ll be replaced by Jakučionis, as Tyler Herro (ribs) remains under a minutes restriction.
  • DEN Guard #24
Jalen Pickett (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Pickett’s sore right knee has landed him on the injury report for the last three games, but this is the first he will miss. His absence does not affect fantasy basketball, provided Jamal Murray is available.
  • MEM Forward-Guard #5
Kyle Anderson (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Andreson will miss Saturday’s game with a sore right knee, which frees up minutes among the Grizzlies’ reserves. Lawson Lovering, who played 32 minutes as the starting center on Saturday, became a free agent afterward due to the expiration of his 10-day contract. Look for Olivier-Maxence Prosper to play plenty, potentially as a starter.
  • MEM Guard #4
Walter Clayton Jr. (calf) is available for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Clayton is good to go after sitting out the last three games, including Friday’s win over the Jazz. However, with Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. available, there may not be enough minutes available for the rookie guard to affect fantasy basketball.
  • MIA Guard #12
Dru Smith (calf) is available for Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Smith is good to go after initially being listed as questionable. With Davion Mitchell (illness) unavailable, there should be a few more minutes available to Smith. That said, he won’t be worth the risk in most redraft leagues.
