Hutchinson averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15.7 minutes last season for the Wizards. Washington had been looking to unload his $4 million salary and attached a second-round pick to get it done. It’s unlikely he lands on the fantasy radar in 2020-21.

Late additions to injury reports are usually not a good sign. Garland has looked good lately and scored 29 points on Tuesday against the Pacers. Lonzo Ball would figure to see the biggest boost in minutes if Garland has to miss time.

Nembhard was added to the injury report this morning, which is usually not a great sign. The guard has only missed one game so far this season, but his minutes have fluctuated as he’s battled some minor injuries. If Nembhard did miss, that would likely mean extra minutes for T.J. McConnell.

Edwards was able to play on Tuesday against the Heat and scored 26 points in 29 minutes. He has not missed a game since December 17th, so we’d lean towards expecting him to play, but it’s a situation to monitor.

Robbins claims that “the plan is for [Young] to rehab his ankle in-house” and take his time returning to the court. The Wizards then anticipate Young picking up his $49 million player option for 2026, at which time they will see how well he fits alongside young players like Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George. Slow-playing Young this season makes sense, considering the Wizards’ first-round pick is top-eight-protected. That means that, if the Wizards lose enough games to pick inside the top eight in the 2026 NBA Draft, they will keep their pick, but if they pick outside of the top eight, the New York Knicks will control the rights to the Wizards’ pick.

Camara had another well-rounded performance in Wednesday’s win, despite shooting inefficiently from beyond the arc. He made all of his two-point shots, finished statistically as one of the best rebounders and facilitators on the team, and was the only Trail Blazer to record multiple blocks and steals. His fantasy ceiling isn’t sky-high, but he’s proven to be more than capable of streaming together similar stat lines as a nice two-way wing.

Sharpe was one of two Trail Blazers to score at least 20 points in the victory. Three-point shooting almost amounted to half of his scoring total, and his trio of assists was tied for second most on the team. Sharpe didn’t have much production elsewhere from a statistical standpoint, but his scoring was enough to leave him with at least a solid night’s worth of production.

Avdija hit the 40-point mark for the first time all season on Wednesday to continue with what’s been an outstanding start to the calendar year. Through four games in 2026, Avdija’s lowest scoring total was a 29-point outing against the Spurs, which resulted in a triple-double. He’s gone for 30 or more points in three of the last four games and has remained a triple-double threat on a nightly basis. He’ll have an opportunity to be effective against the Rockets again on Friday.

Eason got up a lot of shots on Wednesday, but not a lot of them fell. His biggest near-make came in the closing moments of the game as he almost successfully tapped in a missed Kevin Durant jump shot at the buzzer to give the Rockets the win. Instead, the ball was still in his hand as the horn sounded, and the shot was waived off. Eason still had good fantasy production on the evening, thanks to his team-high and season-high in rebounds. Houston will face Portland again on Friday.

Thompson was one of the Rockets’ most productive offensive performers on Wednesday. On efficient 50-percent shooting, the former fourth-overall pick notched his 14th 20-point game of the season, and fourth in the past five games. He made his usual contributions as a passer, but also hit the glass hard to finish as one of three Houston starters to collect double-digit rebounds. Thompson’s work on the defense end also added to his overall production on the night, leading to a nice night as far as fantasy basketball goes.

On the heels of a game-winning shot against his former employer, the Suns, Durant delivered a fantastic scoring performance on Wednesday in the one-point loss. He tied a season-high in points, despite making just two three-pointers on the night. And with just one stock and no assists, there wasn’t much to the two-time Finals MVP’s final stat line. His scoring was the story in this game.
