The Raptors have waived Joe Wieskamp.
The Raptors requested waivers on Wieskamp’s contract on Monday, the day before his contract for the 2023-24 season was due to be guaranteed. The 2021 second-round pick out of Iowa appeared in just nine games for the Raptors last season, with the majority of his run coming with the team’s G League affiliate.

Kristaps Porziņģis (injury management) and Luke Kennard (illness) are off the injury report for Monday’s game against the Clippers.
Neither Porziņģis nor Kennard played in Saturday’s win over the Lakers, with the former’s absence having a greater impact on the Hawks’ rotation. Onyeka Okongwu will likely return to the bench with KP back in the fold, with Kennard’s return meaning fewer minutes for rookie Asa Newell. While Okongwu should be rostered in most leagues, there’s no need to hold onto Newell if you streamed him on Saturday.
HLs: Thunder end road trip with win vs Grizzlies
The Oklahoma City Thunder overcame a 19-point deficit to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies and cap their four-game road trip with a win.
  • PHI Guard #5
Quentin Grimes recorded 13 points (4-of-8 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons.
Grimes has reached double figures in all ten games he’s played this season, providing the 76ers with consistent offense off the bench. However, he’s also been effective in the rebound and assist categories, which is why he’s ranked safely within the top-100 going into Week 4. There’s the question of what will happen once Paul George is healthy enough to play and Jared McCain (zero points and one assist in nine minutes) isn’t under a minutes restriction. However, Grimes should not take too big a hit once the 76ers’ rotation is at full strength, given his productivity.
  • PHI Center #1
Andre Drummond produced 17 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons.
With Joel Embiid unavailable for injury management reasons, Drummond was tabbed to fill the void in the starting lineup on Sunday. And the veteran center came through with a performance on par with what many fantasy managers expected of Drummond when he first joined the 76ers. He recorded a complete stat line on Sunday, including his first game this season with multiple three-pointers. Adem Bona, who was Embiid’s replacement in past games, played 12 minutes off the bench, finishing with two points, four rebounds, one steal and three blocks. Unfortunately, neither will be of much value during Week 4, as the 76ers play just two games.
  • PHI Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey accumulated 33 points (10-of-26 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons.
Maxey had a chance to tie Sunday’s game and force overtime, but his three-point attempt at the end of a hectic possession hit the front iron just before time expired. However, fantasy managers will be more focused on Maxey’s production, as the 76ers guard has scored 30 or more points in six games this season. While we’re used to seeing the likes of Nikola Jokić and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander atop the fantasy rankings, Maxey finds himself in similar company going into Week 4. The 76ers play only two games, but that’s an issue that affects the “supporting cast” more than Maxey.
  • DET Forward #55
Duncan Robinson shot 5-of-11 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Sunday’s win over the 76ers, tallying 17 points, one rebound, one assist, three steals, and four three-pointers.
Robinson has made multiple three-pointers in eight of his ten games this season, with Sunday’s tally of four matching his previous high. On most nights, he’s essentially a points and three-pointers option for fantasy managers, so there isn’t much value to be had when the shots aren’t falling. However, Robinson recorded three steals against the 76ers, matching his total entering Sunday. Caris LeVert (14 points, three rebounds, one block and four three-pointers) also shot the ball well from deep on Sunday, but he also brings a relatively low fantasy ceiling to the table on most nights.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren amassed 21 points (8-of-11 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), 16 rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks in Sunday’s win over the 76ers.
Duren was a force in the paint on Sunday, leading all players with 16 boards while shooting an impressive percentage from the field. Add in the four “stocks,” and this was another excellent night to have the Pistons center rostered. Through ten games, of which Detroit has won eight, Duren is providing top-20 value in eight- and nine-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP of 56. He’ll look to continue this hot start on Monday when the Pistons face the rebuilding Wizards.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham finished Sunday’s win over the 76ers with 26 points (9-of-20 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), four rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one three-pointer.
While Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey may have outscored him in Sunday’s exciting duel, Cunningham did enough to ensure his team left with the win. He shot 8-of-11 from the field after halftime, including a fourth-quarter poster dunk and a turnaround jumper that gave the Pistons a three-point lead with 16.9 seconds remaining. Detroit, which has won six straight, is off to its best start to a season in 20 years, and Cunningham has led the way. The Pistons play three games during Week 4, but none after Friday.
  • ORL Forward #22
Franz Wagner accounted for 20 points (5-of-17 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer in Sunday’s loss to the Celtics.
Wagner has now scored 20 points or more in eight of Orlando’s 10 games, but Sunday’s performance was far from vintage for him. Frequent trips to the foul line salvaged what was a poor night from the field, with Wagner shooting 5-of-17 two nights after going 9-of-18 in an NBA Cup victory over the Celtics. However, the rebounds, assists and steals were certainly valuable, and a reminder that Wagner doesn’t need a high-scoring to impact fantasy basketball. He heads into Week 4 providing top-75 value in eight- and nine-cat formats.
  • ORL Guard #4
Jalen Suggs amassed 20 points (6-of-8 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Celtics.
A double-digit scorer in three straight games, Suggs finished Sunday with his first 20-point outing of the season. And he was highly efficient, shooting 75 percent from the field. However, what was most notable about Suggs’ performance on Sunday was his playing a season-high 29 minutes. Before that, he had not surpassed 21 minutes for injury management reasons. Anthony Black (4/3/0/1) still played 20 minutes off the bench, but his fantasy value will decrease as Suggs’ minutes increase.
  • ORL Forward #5
Paolo Banchero recorded 28 points (9-of-16 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), six rebounds and four assists in Sunday’s loss to the Celtics.
After the Celtics limited Banchero to 15 points on 4-of-10 shooting on Friday, the Magic forward was far more assertive in Sunday’s rematch. While the approach did not result in an Orlando victory, Banchero’s 10 free-throw attempts were a positive. He’s closing in on top-100 value in nine-cat formats, and he’s ranked within the top-75 in eight-cat. Banchero hasn’t always been the best player to use an early-round pick on in category leagues, but he can change that this season. Orlando plays four games during Week 4, starting with Portland on Monday.
