According to The Athletic, the Knicks have waived Isaiah Roby and Jaylen Martin.
The decision to waive Roby is a bit surprising, as the Knicks lack depth at the power forward position behind Julius Randle. And he played well in Tuesday’s exhibition loss to the Celtics, accounting for 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, and three 3-pointers in 16 minutes off the bench. As for Martin, he was on a two-way contract and played three minutes total in the Knicks’ first three preseason games.

Deandre Ayton (knee) is out for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Flagg out for Rising Stars game with foot injury
Noah Rubin discusses news that Mavericks' Cooper Flagg will miss Thursday's game against the Lakers as well as All-Star weekend due to a left midfoot sprain.
  • POR Guard #00
Scoot Henderson is not listed on the injury report for Thursday’s matchup with the Jazz.
Henderson logged 19 minutes on Wednesday, and he’ll surprisingly be available for the second leg of Portland’s back-to-back set. His availability is an encouraging update for his long-term health, and fantasy managers should be optimistic heading into the All-Star break.
  • POR Guard #17
Shaedon Sharpe (calf) is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Jazz.
Sharpe will sit out a fourth straight game, and with Deni Avdija banged up, Jerami Grant could be in line for increased run. Scoot Henderson is available and could take on additional minutes as well.
  • UTA Guard #3
Keyonte George (ankle) is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers.
George will get another night off, and he’ll look to recover during the All-Star break. Even if he comes back from the break healthy, George is a candidate to miss games down the stretch as the Jazz look to secure a more favorable pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. Isaiah Collier has shined with George out, so fantasy managers should continue to deploy him until further notice.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (rest) is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers.
Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) is out for the season, and the Jazz were already sitting their stars in the fourth quarter. It was only a matter of time before Markkanen started missing games, and Thursday’s matchup with Portland surely won’t be the last of the 2025-26 campaign. Kyle Filipowski should be in line for big minutes tonight, and he’s worth streaming for the small, three-game slate.
  • OKC Center-Forward #55
Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Bucks.
Hartenstein will get the night off for the second leg of Oklahoma City’s back-to-back set, which means Chet Holmgren should shoulder the load at center. Jaylin Williams will likely see a big bump in playing time, as Jalen Williams is also out.
  • OKC Guard #25
Ajay Mitchell (abdominal) will miss Thursday’s matchup with the Bucks.
Mitchell will join multiple teammates on the sideline and extend his streak of absences to 11. He does not have a timeline for return.
  • OKC Guard-Forward #8
Jalen Williams (hamstring) is out for Thursday’s matchup with Milwaukee.
J-Dub went off for 28 points in Wednesday’s win over the Suns, but he’ll sit out the second leg of OKC’s back-to-back set. He’s still not playing a full allotment of minutes, so his absence isn’t surprising. Fantasy managers will hope that Williams can use the time off to get healthy for the final stretch of the season.
  • MIL Guard #13
Ryan Rollins (foot) is questionable for Thursday’s matchup with the Thunder.
Rollins sat out Wednesday’s matchup with Orlando, but he’s got a chance to return for the second leg of Milwaukee’s back-to-back set. If Rollins ultimately sits out, Cam Thomas could be in for another big performance. Thomas dropped 34 points against the Magic and hit a key triple late in the game to seal the victory.
  • MIL Forward #18
Kyle Kuzma (foot) is questionable for Thursday’s matchup with the Thunder.
Kuz is back on the injury report, but this time, it’s for a foot issue. If he’s unable to take the court for the Bucks’ final game before the All-Star break, Ousmane Dieng should see a bump in playing time.
