Draymond Green logged 32 minutes in Saturday’s 113-112 loss to the Clippers, scoring 21 points (8-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) with nine rebounds, four assists, one block, and four 3-pointers.
Green came out firing Saturday afternoon, hitting four of his five 3-point attempts in the first quarter. Unfortunately for him, those would be the only triples he would hit on the day, with a corner three just before time expired missing the mark. But the finish doesn’t erase the fact that this was Green’s best offensive performance of the season. He established season-highs in points and field-goal attempts, taking a more aggressive approach for the shorthanded Warriors. Scoring aside, Green’s defensive production has slipped this season, lessening his fantasy impact. Golden State plays two games in Week 7, beginning with a game against Portland on Wednesday.
