Mitchell Robinson (left foot) accumulated 10 points (5-of-6 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 19 minutes in Friday’s 133-123 loss to the Celtics.
Robinson was not on the court to begin the second half of Friday’s game, as he reportedly visited the X-ray room during the halftime break. Everything checked out, as he was able to check back into the game during the third quarter. Robinson has been the best offensive rebounder in the NBA and is a big reason why the Knicks are among the league leaders in offensive rating. Should there be more to the injury, Isaiah Hartenstein (five points, 16 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in 29 minutes) would move into the starting center role. The Knicks play four games during Week 8, beginning at home against the Raptors on Monday.
