Jamison Battle (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Clippers on Friday.
Battle had an early exit from Wednesday’s game against the Pacersand did not return after suffering an ankle injury. Should he miss Friday’s contest, Gradey Dick, who scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Indiana, becomes a likely candidate to take over Battle’s minutes and replace him in the starting lineup.
  • IND Guard-Forward #2

Andrew Nembhard (back) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Nembhard was limited to 22 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards. Due to the Pacers’ lack of depth at the point, Jarace Walker spent more time on the ball as the team’s primary playmaker. While he was responsible for five turnovers, Walker also recorded 21 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. Regardless of what happens with Nembhard, Walker is a player who should be rostered in deep leagues.
Murray can get Nuggets 'back on track' vs. Blazers
Numbers on the Board unpacks their favorite Friday night bets across the NBA from DraftKings SportsBook, with looks at Jamal Murray, Anthony Edwards, and others.
  • IND Guard #9
T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
McConnell did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, so Ethan Thompson and Taelon Peter played rotation minutes off the bench. With Andrew Nembhard (back) listed as doubtful, the Pacers could ask even more of Peter if McConnell remains out for a second consecutive game.
  • LAL Forward #23
LeBron James (knee) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Clippers.
With Luka Dončić and Deandre Ayton back in action, it’s possible the Lakers are playing it safe with the 41-year-old James. If James is ultimately sidelined, Rui Hachimura could see additional playing time, and James’ next chance to take the court would come on Sunday against the Celtics.
  • IND Center #11
Micah Potter (ankle) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Also listed on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, Potter played 27 minutes off the bench. If he’s available for the rematch, Potter’s playing time will likely decrease, with starter Jay Huff playing more than the 21 minutes he logged the night prior.
  • WAS Forward #18
Kyshawn George (toe) is out for Friday’s game against the Pacers.
While George started Thursday’s win over the Pacers, the second-year wing only played 19 minutes. His absence for Friday’s rematch should result in more minutes for Will Riley, who played just four on Thursday. While he has silly-season standout potential, Riley may be hard to rely on in the short term, given how the Wizards have handled their rotation.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (hamstring) and Deandre Ayton (knee) are available for Friday’s matchup with the Clippers.
Dončić and Ayton missed time before the All-Star break, but both players will be available against the cross-town rivals. Expect each of them to handle their typical workloads which will mean fewer minutes for Jake LaRavia, Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes.
  • NOP Guard #11
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Bryce McGowens has signed a new three-year deal with the Pelicans.
The fourth-year man has taken on an increased role with New Orleans, averaging 9.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 triples across 27.1 minutes in 11 starts. He should see increased run until Trey Murphy (shoulder) returns, and McGowens should earn extra minutes any time Zion Williamson is sidelined.
  • POR Guard #91
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Trail Blazers have signed Sidy Cissoko to a two-year deal.
Cissoko played all of the allowable games on his two-way deal, but he’ll get a standard deal to stay with the Blazers for two more years. Multiple injuries have given Cissoko the opportunity to play regular rotation minutes for Portland, and he’s done well with that opportunity.
  • BKN Forward #1
Ziaire Williams (personal) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Thunder.
Williams’ absence isn’t particularly notable, given his limited production this season. His vacated minutes should be absorbed in some combination by Danny Wolf and Drake Powell.
  • BKN Center #33
Nic Claxton (ankle) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Thunder.
Claxton’s streak of absences will extend to three, and it’s unclear when he’ll return. Until Claxton is back, Day’Ron Sharpe makes an excellent streaming option.
