LeBron James tallied 19 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, eight assists and one three-pointer in Tuesday’s win over the Nuggets.
James got going in the third quarter of Tuesday’s game, shooting 4-of-6 from the field. However, while the final stat line was solid, there were a few issues. LeBron didn’t shoot well from the foul line, and he was responsible for six of the Lakers’ 12 turnovers. Over the past two weeks, he has provided first-round value in eight-cat formats and second-round value in nine-cat, continuing his ascent up the fantasy rankings.

Royce O’Neale (knee) is out for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
O’Neale, who started and played 29 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, will not play against the Spurs. His absence frees up a spot in the starting lineup, with Ryan Dunn and Rasheer Fleming being potential replacements. Both should see their minutes increase out of necessity.
McGrady: Mitchell, Booker could get 90 points
NBA on NBC analyst Tracy McGrady joins Dan Patrick to discuss historic scoring performances, relaunching Ones Basketball League and more.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (oblique) is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Kings.
Embiid is apparently nearing a return, but it’s unclear when he’ll be back on the court. For at least one more game, Adem Bona should see plenty of extra run with Andre Drummond and Dominick Barlow picking up the slack in Philly’s frontcourt.
  • CHI Forward-Center #25
Jalen Smith (calf) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Smith was in the lineup for Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors, but he only played 17 minutes for injury management reasons. If he’s unable to play against the Cavaliers, Nick Richards and Guerschon Yabusele will have added importance, with the former likely moving into the starting lineup.
  • LAL Forward #23
LeBron James (foot) is questionable to play against the Heat on Thursday.
The Lakers plane reportedly landed in Miami at 5:00 a.m. local time after playing at 8:30 p.m. central time on Wednesday night. In other words, it isn’t surprising that LeBron is on the injury report. If he is unavailable, Rui Hachimura should slide into the starting unit.
  • UTA Forward #28
Brice Sensabaugh (illness) is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Bucks, and John Konchar (quad) is doubtful.
Utah is unsurprisingly dealing with multiple absences across the roster, and Ace Bailey should be the next man up with Sensabaugh sidelined and Konchar not expected to play. Andersson Garcia should see extra run, too.
  • CHI Guard #2
Collin Sexton (leg) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Sexton was back in the Bulls’ rotation on Wednesday after missing the previous four games, playing 18 minutes off the bench. He’ll likely take on a similar workload if allowed to play, making fellow reserve Rob Dillingham a more attractive option in deep leagues.
  • UTA Guard #8
Isaiah Collier (hamstring) is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Bucks.
Collier has been mostly healthy this season, but he’ll sit out against Milwaukee while dealing with left hamstring soreness. In Collier’s absence, EJ Harkless could enjoy more playing time since Keyonte George (hamstring) is also sidelined.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (hip) is questionable to play against the Heat on Thursday.
Dončić joins LeBron James (foot) and Austin Reaves (forearm) as questionable for the second night of this back-to-back. If Dončić is unavailable, there is a good chance the other two are out as well, which would leave the Lakers incredibly shorthanded. Luke Kennard and Jake LaRavia are both candidates to move into the starting unit, while Kobe Bufkin may return to the rotation as a backup ball handler behind Marcus Smart.
  • CHI Forward-Guard #35
Isaac Okoro (knee) is out for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Thursday’s game will be the sixth that Okoro has missed due to a right knee injury. Leonard Miller has been his replacement in the starting lineup and should retain that role until Okoro returns.
  • SAC Guard #0
Malik Monk (ankle) is available for Thursday’s matchup with the 76ers.
Monk will return after a four-game absence, and he should pick up some of the backcourt slack while Nique Clifford (hamstring) is sidelined. Daeqwon Plowden could see fewer minutes with Monk back in action.
