  • WAS Forward #18

Kyshawn George (knee) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
George was limited to 18 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Pistons, and there was no injury announced beforehand. Fantasy managers certainly shouldn’t move on from George yet, but they should watch his playing time. Will Riley is one player whose opportunities will likely increase as the Wizards look to strengthen their chances of holding onto their first-round pick.

Domantas Sabonis (back) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
Sabonis has missed Sacramento’s last two games and four of its last five with a lower back issue. Rookie Maxime Raynaud has been his replacement in the starting lineup, with Dylan Cardwell taking on an enhanced role off the bench. That may become the norm down the stretch, as the Kings appear destined for the draft lottery.
HLs: Castle explodes for 40-point triple-double
Watch highlights of San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle doing it all with a 40-point triple-double to defeat the Dallas Mavericks Saturday night.
  • SAC Guard #0
Malik Monk (illness) is out for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
Monk will miss a second consecutive game due to illness. His absence on Saturday resulted in more minutes for Devin Carter, who logged 27 and scored 18 points. While he isn’t worth streaming in this spot, Carter is a player who could have added fantasy value after the All-Star break.
  • SAC Forward #7
Doug McDermott (shoulder) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
McDermott’s potential absence does not affect fantasy basketball, as he is not guaranteed rotation minutes when healthy. Leave him on the waiver wire.
  • SAC Guard #8
Zach LaVine (finger) is out for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
LaVine will miss a second straight game with a sore right fifth finger. With De’Andre Hunter (eye) also out, the Kings started Nique Clifford and Daeqwon Plowden in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers. While Clifford, who scored a career-high 30 points, is the superior fantasy option, Plowden is worth considering in deep leagues.
  • ATL Guard #5
Dyson Daniels (ankle) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Daniels is dealing with some inflammation in his right ankle. If he’s unable to play on Monday, that would be a significant issue for the Hawks, as Daniels would likely be assigned to guard Anthony Edwards. Corey Kispert and CJ McCollum would take on added responsibilities on offense, but neither defends at Daniels’ level. There would also be room in the rotation for Buddy Hield or Gabe Vincent, but neither would be worth the streaming risk.
  • UTA Guard #3
Keyonte George (ankle) is out for Monday’s game against the Heat.
George aggravated his sprained right ankle during Saturday’s loss to the Magic, exiting during the first half. His absence will push Isaiah Collier into the starting lineup, and he qualifies as a must-roster player when he starts.
  • Malaki Branham (not with team) is out for Monday’s game against the Pistons.
Acquired from Dallas for Tyus Jones, Branham has yet to join the Hornets. His absence does not affect fantasy basketball, as it’s unknown how — or if — he’ll fit into the rotation.
  • DET Forward #5
Ron Holland (personal) is out for Monday’s game against the Hornets.
Holland will be away from the Pistons for personal reasons, and it’s unknown how long that will be the case. His absence will not have a significant effect on fantasy basketball, but it may lead to more minutes for Daniss Jenkins and Kevin Huerter.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (knee) is probable for Monday’s game against the Hornets.
Duren was not available for Friday’s demolition of the Knicks, as he exited Thursday’s loss to the Wizards with a sore right knee. He’s on track to return in Charlotte, which would push Isaiah Stewart to the bench since Tobias Harris is available.
  • SAC Forward-Guard #12
De’Andre Hunter (eye) will be re-evaluated in 10 days.
Hunter has been diagnosed with iritis in his left eye after being inadvertently poked in the eye by Clippers wing Kobe Sanders during Friday’s loss to the Clippers. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with rookie Nique Clifford being the player most likely to fill the void. Given where the Kings are in the standings, Clifford and Devin Carter should have added fantasy value after the All-Star break.
