Myles Turner finished Tuesday’s loss to the Suns with 22 points (7-of-13 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, one steal and five three-pointers.
To say that Turner needed a night like Tuesday would be an understatement. Over his last five games entering the matchup with the Suns, the Bucks’ center averaged 6.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers in 20.6 minutes, shooting 31.4 percent from the field. Turner’s 22 points were the most in a game for him since January 27, when he dropped 31 on the 76ers. Simply put, nights like Tuesday have been few and far between for Turner, which is not what the Bucks expected when they signed him in free agency.
