  • LAL Center-Forward #11

Jaxson Hayes (foot) has been ruled out against the Jazz on Sunday.
Hayes will remain sidelined for a fourth straight game, which means the Lakers will turn to Jarred Vanderbilt and Maxi Kleber for the backup center minutes. However, that hasn’t led to much production for either player.
  • TOR Guard #23

Jamal Shead had 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), one rebound, two assists and five three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Cavaliers.
Shead replaced Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) in the starting lineup for Game 1 against the Cavaliers on Saturday. The 23-year-old point guard gave the Raptors a spark with 17 points and five three-pointers. Quickley is said to be improving and could return later in the series, but Shead did about as well as the Raptors could’ve hoped in his Game 1 spot start.
Highlights: Green pushes Suns to No. 8 seed
Jalen Green dropped 36 points on 14-of-20 shooting to lead the Suns past the Warriors and secure the West's No. 8 seed in the postseason.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #4
Scottie Barnes had 21 points (6-of-14 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), one rebound, seven assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Cavaliers.
Barnes had 21 points on 14 attempts from the field and three three-pointers. The 24-year-old small forward also had seven assists, but he also had five turnovers. Barnes was a game-worst -22 in his 32 minutes on the floor. The Raptors will need Barnes to take better care of the ball if they’re going to make this a series.
  • TOR Forward #3
Brandon Ingram had 17 points (5-of-9 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), two rebounds, four assists and one block in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Cavaliers.
Ingram didn’t make a great impression in his first playoff action with the Raptors. The 28-year-old small forward had just four points and was 0-of-1 from the field in the second half. With Ingram not scoring, the Cavaliers pulled away in the third quarter, winning it by 14 points. Ingram will need to bounce back in a big way if the Raptors are going to get back into the series.
  • CLE Guard-Forward #2
Max Strus had 24 points (8-of-10 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), three rebounds and four three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 1 victory over the Raptors.
Strus came off the bench and had 24 points on 10 attempts from the field and four three-pointers. The 30-year-old shooting guard was +8 in 24 minutes off the bench. Strus is known for performances like this in the playoffs going back to his days with the Miami Heat.
  • CLE Guard #1
James Harden had 22 points (8-of-17 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 1 victory over the Raptors.
Harden stepped up big time in his Cavaliers playoff debut. The 36-year-old point guard had 22 points on 17 attempts from the field and four three-pointers. Harden also dished out 10 assists, earning a double-double. He and Donovan Mitchell showed in Game 1 that this series could be over quickly if the Raptors defense doesn’t step up in the next game.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell had 32 points (11-of-20 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, two steals and four three-pointers in the Cavaliers’ 126-113 Game 1 victory over the Raptors on Saturday.
Mitchell has now scored at least 30 points in nine consecutive Game 1s in his career, which is an NBA record. The 29-year-old shooting guard is no stranger to the playoffs, having made it in every season of his career so far. Mitchell was excellent Saturday and he’ll need to keep it up if he wants to advance to the conference finals for the first time in his career.
  • ORL Forward #1
Jonathan Isaac (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s Game 1 against the Pistons.
Isaac hasn’t played since March 12 and was an afterthought for the Magic this year. While his questionable status for Game 1 gives him a chance to be available, it’s unlikely he sees the floor much at all in this series.
  • MIN Guard #5
Timberwolves will start Anthony Edwards, Donte DiVincenzo, Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert for Game 1 against the Nuggets on Saturday.
DiVincenzo was the only regular Minnesota starter that played in Sunday’s regular season finale. The Timberwolves will have their usual starting lineup back for Game 1 of the playoffs, led by superstar guard Anthony Edwards, who missed Sunday’s game with knee injury management.
  • DEN Forward #21
Spencer Jones (hamstring) is available for Game 1 against the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Jones was initially listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, but has since been ruled in for Game 1 against the Timberwolves on Saturday. The 24-year-old forward averaged 22.1 minutes per game this year, but hasn’t played since March 29. Jones figures to play rotation minutes off the bench, though teams have been known to play their starters heavy minutes in the playoffs.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards (knee) is available for Game 1 against the Nuggets on Saturday.
Edwards was initially listed as questionable for Saturday’s Game 1 against the Nuggets as he continues to manage a knee injury. Edwards missed the regular season finale, but with playoff stakes on the line he wasn’t in danger of missing the start of the Timberwolves’ opening series.
