Johnson, described by DeFabo as a “physical back built to carry the load,” was taken with the 83rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He’s widely expected to replace Najee Harris — now with the Chargers — in the Pittsburgh backfield in 2025. Johnson dominated the Iowa backfield in 2024, totaling 240 carries for 1,537 yards and 21 touchdowns. He made progress as a pass catcher, reeling in 22 balls for 188 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the run-heavy Iowa offense. Only three running backs in the nation logged more rushes of over ten yards than Johnson in 2024. His presence, along with Kenneth Gainwell, leaves little upside for Warren barring backfield injuries for the Steelers.
  • CHI Quarterback
The consensus No. 1 overall pick for the better part of two years and arguably the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck, Williams (6’1/214) enters the NFL coming off a “down” season where the Trojans’ line and supporting cast woes “limited” him to 3,633 yards and 30 scores in 12 games after those numbers were 4,537 and 42, respectively, in 2022. Despite his protection problems, Williams continued to look down-field when flushed from the pocket and remained lethal off-platform. Although by no means an elite runner, Williams can do damage with his legs — he rushed for 21 scores over the past two seasons — and is difficult to take down due to a thick build a la Kyler Murray or arguably even Jalen Hurts. Despite a 2023 environment and setup that created nits to be picked, Williams was never in any danger of falling beyond the No. 1 spot. A genuine franchise-changing type talent for a long-beleaguered Bears quarterback room, Williams is one of the most important players to enter the NFL this decade. He will threaten for QB1 status right off the bat.
  • CLE Running Back #34
Ford was thrust into the lead back role for the Browns following the season-ending injury to Nick Chubb in Week 2 of the 2023 season, handling 53.7 percent of the team’s offensive snaps to go along with 12 carries and 3.7 targets per game. He is likely to return to the Browns in 2024 while on the third year of his four-year contract to serve as the primary change of pace back behind Chubb.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #11
That’s back-to-back bad outings for Brown, who has caught six passes for 45 yards and one touchdown over the last two weeks. A three-yard touchdown by Brown in the third quarter will prove enough to salvage an otherwise disappointing day, but fantasy managers banking on Brown’s production will be on high alert next week. Another high-scoring affair could be on tap in Week 13 against the 49ers. Despite his struggles, Brown remains a must-start player in what we hope is a bounce-back matchup next week.
