ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Grizzlies have signed G Cam Spencer to a two-year, $4.5 million contract.
The 53rd overall pick in the 2024 draft, Spencer took on a limited role during his rookie season in Memphis. However, he did enough to earn a two-year deal that will be fully guaranteed. In 25 games, Spencer averaged 4.2 points, 1.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 three-pointers in 10.1 minutes. Spencer was a non-factor in fantasy basketball on most nights, but there were occasions when he was worth streaming. Memphis’ regular season finale was one of those instances, as he went off for 23 points, seven assists and five three-pointers in a win over Dallas.
