Anthony Edwards finished Thursday’s win over the Clippers with 31 points (12-of-24 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, one steal and two three-pointers.

Edwards leads the NBA in points scored in road games, and he was at his best during the second half of Thursday’s victory. He scored 21 points after halftime, including a three-pointer over two defenders with 42.9 seconds remaining that gave the Timberwolves a four-point lead. While the shot selection can be an adventure at times, Edwards is one of the NBA’s most lethal scorers. And when he’s shooting as well as he did in the second half of Thursday’s game, Ant-Man is nearly impossible to stop.
Saddiq Bey

NOP Guard-Forward #41

Saddiq Bey led the Pelicans with 42 points (14-of-20 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists and five three-pointers in a 129-118 win over the Jazz on Thursday.

Bey has had an incredible season for the Pels after missing all of last year, and this was his best performance. His red-hot shooting led to a new season high and the second-highest scoring outing of his career. He’ll continue to play a significant role for New Orleans for the remainder of the season, and while he may not have more performances like this, he should be considered a must-roster player.
Naji Marshall

DAL Forward #13

Naji Marshall led the Mavericks with 36 points (14-of-23 FGs, 7-of-11 FTs), 10 rebounds, six assists and one three-pointer in a 130-121 loss to the Kings on Thursday.

Marshall has been an excellent source of offense over the last two seasons for Dallas, but this was one of his best. He has seven 30-point games in his career, all coming over the past calendar year, including five this season. He fell two points shy of matching his career high in this one. As long as he’s healthy and available, he’ll continue to pour in the stats for the Mavs.
Precious Achiuwa

SAC Forward #9

Precious Achiuwa led the Kings with 29 points (13-of-19 FGs), 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals, one block and three three-pointers in a 130-121 win over the Mavericks on Thursday.

Achiuwa has had some big games recently, and this was enough to finally end the Kings’ losing streak. He set a new career high for scoring and had his second 20-point double-double in his last three games. With Sacramento playing the rest of the season without multiple typical starters, Achiuwa will continue to play big minutes, though this type of production won’t come consistently.
Luka Dončić

LAL Forward-Guard #77

Luka Dončić accumulated 41 points (12-of-21 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs), eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and six three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Suns.

Dončić had one of his best games of the season on Thursday, recording his ninth 40-point game in Phoenix. However, it wasn’t enough to get the Lakers back into the win column, with the team dropping a third straight game. A top-15 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, according to Basketball Monster, Dončić remains one of the best players to roster in fantasy basketball. The question now is whether he’ll be able to do enough to make the Lakers a credible threat in the West come playoff time.
Grayson Allen

PHX Guard #8

Grayson Allen accounted for 28 points (9-of-24 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), one rebound, six assists, one steal, one block and six three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Lakers.

While Allen’s percentage wasn’t the best, he did what he had to offensively for a Suns team that is without its top two scorers. Allen knocked down six three-pointers, and his most important play may have been one in which he didn’t shoot the ball. The Suns guard was able to get downhill on the team’s final possession, putting the Lakers in rotation defensively. Allen’s pass to Collin Gillespie was followed by one from Gillespie to Royce O’Neale, who hit the game-winning three with nine-tenths of a second remaining. Allen should be rostered in 12-team leagues as long as Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks remain out.
Desmond Bane

ORL Guard #3

Desmond Bane led the Magic with 30 points (12-of-19 FGs), six rebounds, four assists, two steals and six three-pointers in a 113-108 loss to the Rockets on Thursday.

Bane has been on quite the heater as of late. He has shot at least 60 percent from the floor in six of his last seven games, which includes four 30-point games during that stretch. He has also provided plenty of steals during that stretch, with two steals in five of his last six outings. Bane has been a fantasy superstar in recent weeks, and he should remain hot as one of the focal points of the Magic offense moving forward.
Kevin Durant

HOU Forward #7

Kevin Durant led the Rockets with 40 points (14-of-28 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers in a 113-108 win over the Magic on Thursday.

Durant went nuclear in this game, setting new season highs for both scoring and shot attempts in the win. Since the All-Star break, KD has averaged 27.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists and three triples per game, and he has shot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of his last three games. He’ll look to stay hot in Miami on Saturday to wrap up the week.
Corey Kispert

ATL Forward #24

Corey Kispert provided a boost off the bench with 33 points (11-of-19 FGs), six rebounds, one assist, one block and six three-pointers in a 126-96 win over the Wizards on Thursday.

Against his former team, Kispert got off to a scorching hot start, knocking down his first seven shots of the game. He cooled off after that, but he ended up setting a new career high for scoring in this game. Kispert was able to get revenge on the team that drafted him, but this shouldn’t change how managers view him. Leave him on the waiver wire.
Jerami Grant

POR Forward #9

Jerami Grant finished Thursday’s win over the Bulls with 27 points (6-of-10 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), five rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers.

As was the case in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, Grant made a living at the foul line on Thursday. He made 12 of his 14 attempts, and the 27 points scored were the most in a game for the Trail Blazers’ forward since a 29-point effort against the Grizzlies on February 7. Portland was without Donovan Clingan on Thursday, shifting Grant to the starting center role. That may have factored into him grabbing five rebounds, a number he’s reached in consecutive games for the first time this season. Portland ends its Week 18 with games on Saturday (at Charlotte) and Sunday (at Atlanta).
