Bruce Brown finished Wednesday’s win over Washington with 24 points, three rebounds, an assist, a steal and six triples.
He shot 8-of-11 from the floor and led Indiana in scoring in the blowout 143-120 victory, wasting no time getting involved for his new team. After winning a title with the Nuggets, Brown agreed to a lucrative deal to join the upstart Pacers this offseason, and Indiana is already getting a great return on its investment. The Wizards got cooked in this one, and eight Pacers finished with double-digit points, so we won’t expect this type of performance from Brown every night. Regardless, it’s quite an encouraging performance in his Pacers debut.
