Following a two-game absence, Smith will return to take on Golden State, which is what Rockets coach Ime Udoka had previously indicated. Reed Sheppard played well as a starter, but he will likely return to the bench with Smith returning.
Amen Thompson

HOU Guard-Forward #1

Amen Thompson (ankle) will be available to play against the Warriors on Thursday.

Thompson exited early from Monday’s win over Washington after injuring his ankle in the fourth quarter, but that won’t keep him from suiting up against Golden State. He’ll occupy his typical spot in the starting unit.
Cooper Flagg

DAL Forward #32

Cooper Flagg (foot) is questionable to play against the Magic on Thursday.

Flagg has been sidelined since before the All-Star break, but he could make his return against Orlando. Flagg’s return would likely push Khris Middleton back to the bench, which would limit his fantasy output.
Anthony Black

ORL Guard #0

Anthony Black (quad) is questionable to play against the Mavericks on Thursday.

Black has missed Orlando’s last two games, which has allowed Tristan da Silva to start in his stead. If he returns to take on Dallas, da Silva will return to playing a role off the bench. He has started the last six games for Orlando due to Jalen Suggs’ absence as well, and he has averaged 11.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game during this stretch.
Kevin Porter

MIL Guard-Forward #7

Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) has been ruled out against the Hawks on Wednesday.

KPJ is listed on the injury report with right knee swelling, which is the same knee that he tore his meniscus in, which forced him to miss a month early on this season. This is certainly a situation worth monitoring since it could lead to a multi-game absence. Ryan Rollins will return to the starting unit in his stead.
Coby White

CHA Guard #3

Coby White (calf) is not on the injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.

White sat out against Dallas on Tuesday, but he’ll be available to take on Boston. Sion James and Josh Green were the primary perimeter options off the bench, but White will occupy that role in this game.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

OKC Guard #2

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (core) is not on the injury report ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.

SGA sat out against Chicago on Tuesday, but he’ll be back to take on New York. Isaiah Joe played well as a starter in his place but will return to playing a reserve role with SGA available.
VJ Edgecombe

PHI Guard #77

VJ Edgecombe (back) has been ruled out against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Edgecombe exited early on Tuesday after injuring his back on the final play before halftime, and it will keep him sidelined against Utah. Cameron Payne started the second half in his place and could be in line to start against Utah.
Mitchell Robinson

NYK Center-Forward #23

Mitchell Robinson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Thunder on Wednesday.

As expected, Robinson will be unavailable after playing in Tuesday’s game against Toronto. Karl-Anthony Towns will continue to fill the bulk of the minutes at center, with Ariel Hukporti slotting in as the backup for this game.
Aaron Gordon

DEN Forward #32

Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is targeting a return against the Knicks on Friday.

Gordon has been sidelined since Jan. 23 with a strained right hamstring, and while he’ll remain out for Thursday’s game against the Lakers, he could return against New York in Denver’s final game of the week. Julian Strawther has had some success as a starter in place of AG, but he’ll likely return to a reserve role when Gordon returns, eliminating his streaming upside.
